🚨 NY Knicks Get WORST NEWS YET
New York Knicks news comes in the form of a Jalen Brunson injury update as he left the Knicks vs. Lakers game with an ankle injury. Brunson was unable to stay in the game and had to be helped to the locker room. To make matters worse Tom Thibodeau saw his team again blow a 4th quarter lead as they lost to another top NBA team. To me, even though Kat came back earlier than reported, his mind still, wasn’t all the way in the game. He’s dealing with another horrible family illness and it’s obviously taking a lot out of him. He was supposed to be out for at least a week, but came back early to try, to help the team. He needs to take more time.

All the people who loved the KAT and the Mikal trades are going to blame Thibs now. Thibs is fine. KAT is just soft and doesn't play defense. Randle plus Divo >>>>>> KAT. It's a hard pill to swallow. Randle never would have shied away from the spotlight if Brunson went down in the closing minutes like KAT did.

Hope all is well to Brunson! But I swear this team is cursed. Last year it was Randall’s shoulder Now it’s Brunson before the playoffs.I have never in my life seen the Knicks win a chip! The only NY team still without a championship in my lifetime! I do think the Knicks still need one more Big peace to go all the way! Just my opinion..

You’re saying we shouldn’t ask Brunson to be the only source of offense in the clutch, isn’t that why we traded Randle and DiVincenzo (2 players who can score in the clutch) for KAT? And then you got the nerve to down talk Randle in the comments, you always have bad takes on basketball and no disrespect to you but the way you see the game is no different from the AVERAGE Knicks fan.
I love KAT especially as a person he’s great, but on the court he’s a spot up shooter he can’t create his own shots unless he drives to the basket but that gets shut down quickly when the other team is physical and plays good defense, it works against the Hornets and the Wizards but it won’t work against the top teams. A player like Randle is more physical and has a wider variety of skills in his bag, not only can he spot up shoot and drive to the basket he can also post you up he can do dribble pull ups he shoots fadeaways HE CAN GET YOU A BUCKET IN THE CLUTCH LIKE HE HAS DONE MANY TIMES WHEN HE WAS A KNICK, he was an all star last year just like KAT is this year he just happened to get injured and missed the rest of the season oh well, KAT gets injured too…. Even DiVincenzo could get you a bucket in the clutch besides being a way better spot up shooter than KAT is, he can also drive to the basket, he’ll shoot off screens and just create opportunities for other players to score BUT WE TRADED ALL OF THAT AWAY FOR KAT, you can’t just be a spot up shooter and expect to be a reliable source to score in clutch moments you gotta be able to create your own shot and no other player on the Knicks besides Brunson can give us that. The only players that were able to give us that type of scoring WE TRADED THEM AWAY.
Last year it was TRADE RANDLE! This year it’s FIRE THIBS! Like what stop being delusional you people don’t know anything about basketball LAST YEARS TEAM WAS WAY BETTER the Bridges trade was probably the only trade that should’ve happened in the offseason because you guys hate on Bridges but if DiVincenzo had stayed and we had the 4 Nova Knicks together, THE FOUR OF THEM WOULD BE PLAYING WAY BETTER and Bridges would be having probably a way better season, this team is not complete.
Regular season be damned. Get him healed for the playoffs!!!

The Knicks downfall started with not keeping Obi Toppin. They had a great bench with him and Quickly who should have never been traded. Perhaps even with Barrett in the lineup they would fair better. Including Donte DeVincenzo in the deal for KAT was another mistake. In addition to not having bench strength, Tom Thibodeau has a history of wearing out his starters which will lead to injury. Giving 5 picks away for Bridges was a desperate move thinking that he was the final piece. Sorry to say this group will never win a Championship.
