The fear of the Raps failing to tank w/ easiest schedule and failing to make play-in, resulting into another mid-draft no mans land is becoming more likely. This is why I get very annoyed with the tank being celebrated.
Really unfortunate position for the Raptors to be in and really not ideal for the Raptors to miss out on a top 5 player. Maybe it'll be possible to trade up in the draft if they keep winning
Scottie's got play his 65 games min. if hes motivated Raptors aren't losing even 10 out of 19 if i had to geuss. Best case scenario is either having less wins than Chicago or tie, since Bulls have the tie breaker Hornets just beat BKN so geuss well see lol
Easiest thing to do is everyone do things they have never done.
We need – – Poeltl to channel his inner Bargnani – Barnes and Barrett to get into a scuffle and get suspended – IQ to go full Damian Lillard but with Andre Roberson shooting ability – Mogbo to go on Curry three point tendency – Jakobe needs to be at home with the door locked from the outside – all the GLeague players playing with unlimited shooting, optional rebounding opportunities
Toronto can rotate through enough "nagging injury" rest games for decent players to optimistically finish with around 29-31 wins, which still should keep them bottom 6. Not the best spot, still a chance at a strong pick, and besides a lot of folks are excited for them to possibly draft the #8 top prospect anyway (I'm not confident that's the best move). I do hope the NBA can figure out some of these now chronic issues with too many teams aiming to lose games, way too many 3's, and a generally more boring final product as a result.
Since the Raps lost to the Wizards, I wonder who your next draft prospect is gonna be. I wouldn’t mind seeing Kon K’nipple or Liam Mcnilly since their games are similar. Also would like to know who you would choose between the two.
I don't think they'll catch up to the bulls, a difference of five wins with the remaining number of games is too big.
And the difference in value between the 6th worst record and 8th worst in terms of draft prospects is fairly minimal. There are 2 guaranteed ceiling raisers in the draft, and the odds of getting one of them shift from 18% to 12%, meh. behind that the prospects themselves offer an added level of uncertainty, because that's just the reality of drafting there's a great variance between a prospect's best case scenario and worst case scenario.
Which is one of the reasons I like the BI trade. relying on the draft as the primary influx of talent is a bad way to build a team. OKC are an outlier in that sense.

I hate this feeling
You did it again.
Instead of complaining about ethics, your just analyze the situation to create clarity and context.

I'm not concern, we're just that good right now and we have been very good drafting.
