    Maybe regular season wise, this team would not be much different with jimmy, but they would be the 3rd best team in the east come playoffs with jimmy. Without jimmy, they just suck all around

    They don’t need to try to tank. The team stinks. So they will lose anyway. Maybe Riley retires after this season. That’s the only way out of this mess.

    This team has dealt with a lot this season. Even after the Butler trade, I immediately said we will not see what this team really is until next season. Why? These players are young, and the new guys need an entire off season with the Heat. Miami has nothing to lose at this point, start closing games with Ware. Why doesn't Spo close the games with him? Even if he's not out there catching lobs or scoring, his presence in the paint and his crucial to helping this team close games out. It is what it is… play the young guys and get ready for the draft, then make whatever moves you need to make for next season…

    The Heat aren't tanking. They're just mediocre/subpar basketball team. You are what your record says you are at this point in the season. The team is missing a #1 scoring option and closer. Even Stevie Wonder can see it.

    The segment of Heat fans that don't want KD simply because he's old, are clueless to not realize how 26 pt game scorer like him would elevate this team tremendously

    This is what happens when you have 3 guards that a) make a combined $75 million and b) are incapable of even decent defense. We just always have bad defenders in the floor, the opposing team gets to go downhill on us constantly, and then we have no real point guard to get easy offense. Everything is forced at the end of the game. Forced 3s, forced layups.

    We will be like this until as long as we have Terry, Duncan, and Tyler. 1 of those is the most you can have on a serious team, and only Tyler is worth his contract. He won’t be worth an extension though.

    We would only tank 1 time. We won’t even have a pick to tank for next season anyway.

    We will either get 2 rookies that can help us, or 2 trade assets for something else that helps us.

    Getting blown off the floor by Boston again in the playoffs does not help us. The pick protections on the Charlotte pick don’t help us unless we plan on sucking for several more years, and the whole point of the protections on this OKC pick is in case we have a season like this. It’s the only silver lining besides Ware to this season…we are awful, but lucky enough to have this lottery pick protected.

    Not tanking might be the most stupid choice Miami could make. There is no point in being a first-round exit team. Everyone and they're mom knows we just aren't good enough. Just tank for Cooper Flag.
