What Is Domantas Sabonis & Sacramento Kings Future?

Domantas Sabonis remains a key piece for the Sacramento Kings, with three years and $140 million left on his contract after this season. Since he won’t be extension-eligible until the 2026 offseason, the Kings don’t have to make a decision about his future just yet—unlike the situation they faced with De’Aaron Fox. How does this impact Sacramento’s long-term plans, and what could it mean for their roster moves?

Tune in for the latest updates on the Kings and their path forward!

  1. DeMarcus Cousins is an underrated basketball mind. He'll never get the credit he deserves, but the things he did in Sacramento with the entire operation in disarray were more impressive than people realize.

As for the Kings, well, my thoughts on Vivek are well known. I wish more fans in Sacramento would wake up and that the local media (most of whom are connected to the Kings either directly or indirectly) would speak out against his ownership reign. Seriously, Ranadive is the basketball equivalent of Honorius. I do not for one second believe Monte McNair was like, let's go get DeRozan and LaVine. Sacramento's current roster isn't something that would be put together by competent basketball front office staff.
