I think about a week ago Windhorst said one of the dumbest things I've ever heard on ESPN–and that's saying a lot–when he stated that 'there isn't really an MVP race.' What? Jokic's conventional and advanced and impact on winning numbers are superior across the board when taken as a whole. In terms of actual facts, Jokic should be the front runner by a wide margin. But maybe that's what Windhorst meant. Yeah, right, LOL.

It is simply baffling that they wrestle with these questions when the track record is so irrefutable. If you put Jokic on any other team, they would immediately be a contender. Obviously, the same cannot be said for SGA, although he is a very good foul shooter. Also baffling in the fact that Jokic takes more hits than anyone else in the league but is not even close to getting as many foul calls. As for the award, which people claim SGA deserves because his team is doing so well, the only time Jokić has not won the MVP in the last five years was when the Nuggets had the best record in the NBA all season long. Oh yeah, that was the year they won the title, but the pontificators in the NBA gave it to Joel Embiid that year. I do not think Philadelphia even made it out of the first round. Meanwhile, here’s a guy averaging a triple double who takes more hits than anyone else in the league, and gets less consideration from the referees. His numbers are not coming from the foul line, they’re coming from the paint. Oh yes, he is also hitting 45% or so of his three-point shots, making him the best three-point shooting center in the history of the game. Meanwhileyou guys are continuing to disparage and minimize the Nuggets, their incredible teamwork, the injuries they have been fighting through, and their one of a kind leader. If you do not pick him for MVP this year, you might as well retire the award, because it will be completely meaningless.
By this lady‘s rationale, if Murray shows up at this time of the year, which is at the 3/4 point, maybe he shouldn’t get paid for the first 3/4 of the season. That is a ridiculous take, and for the money he’s getting paid he should play every game from game one to game 82. He is the most Inconsistent player I have seen in a long time, and oftentimes is a detriment to the success of the Nuggets.
Jamal should have had at least 37 but somehow they were robbed after Murray was fouled twice on the same play yet somehow the Thunder were able to win a BS challenge on a play that wasn’t even really an offensive foul. A “foul” that happened after He was clearly attacked by Caruso.

Glad to see murray is bit less a liability now . Just saw the summary sadly, but I really hope nuggets do play better during playoffs but – here is the but – they stay playing good meanwhile jokic IS OUT resting. The team is so out of focus and out of passion without jokic playing honestly 😂
Perhaps westbrook even if he tend to play awful but at least he has some passion. The others? There is nobody who can actually play with some decency, or can carry the team when Jokic is at the bench.
