MASSIVE Mavericks Injury Update…

Anthony Davis and Dereck Lively may soon return to action, giving the Dallas Mavericks a major boost in their frontcourt rotation. Both players have been sorely missed, and their comebacks could help stabilize the team’s defense and rebounding. In this video, Marcel Martin explores their potential return timelines, how the Mavericks might integrate them back into the lineup, and what it means for the team’s playoff push.

  1. Las Vegas Mavs.

Glad to hear, maybe we can let them sit rest of season, trade him and reset this organization.

  2. Even if the Mavericks get all the injured players back except Kyrie, they will not be able to win any playoffs series. Championship basketball requires strong skills at every position. Teams need ball handlers that can initiate the offense and get their own shots. You need size at the wings that can defend, shoot three pointers, and create some shots for themselves sometimes. You need bigs that can rebound, defend the rim, and score some too. You also need a strong bench to do some of the same skills that the starts bring. But the Mavericks without Kyrie have no ballhandling point guard to lead the offense so, they will not beat anyone in the playoffs. When Luka was on the team there where two ball handlers so, they could still win with just one. Dinwiddie is a decent bench point guard, but he is not close to the offense generator that Luka and Kyrie are. The Mavericks are just not going to beat any of the western conference playoff teams in a seven-game series.

  3. Ay some actual good news around the Mavericks. Lively and AD are week to week and the fact AD most likely will return for some games before the season is a good sign. You also got Klay who says he's happy to stay in Dallas for the last 2 years of his contract not long ago. I mean it's just a breath of fresh air. I was just waiting to hear something like Klay tore his achillies again. Or Kessler Edwards broke his arm. Just another insane injury.

  4. Marcel, neither were hurt. This is just a ploy to get the Mavs to tank. We traded Quentin Grimes, and draft capital for a guy that barely is able to play in the G League. If you can't see how the Mavs are trying to destroy the team, you can't be helped – simple as that.

  5. I started watching you because you report the news quickly. I'm somewhat hard core and do not like this style of fluff. This team is suddenly cooked on a level that has never been seen before. Make a video about how we might possibly draft a solid point guard. There is no possible way we get CF, the fix is real and the DMs are the butt of rich peoples jokes

  6. TANK!!!!!!!!….GEESH!!!..its not rocket science….we only hve our 1st round pick this yr and nxt…..LOTTERY!!!!!

  7. A draft pick isn’t going to change our small window so why shut it down now if someone can come back. Btw where is PJ

  8. this is another matter of "could" and uncertainty, although i don't care either way. however, if they get back at least we would still have something to watch and look forward to lol

  9. If Mavs healthy without Kyrie this season( if, how do fans think they shape up if they keep the play-in spot? On Paper even without Kyrie it is a interesting team if Healthy. Of course that's when you then add Williams in the rotation.

  10. I genuinely hope he doesn't run more people straight into the ground in a Play-in/Playoff push. Now is the time to regroup.

  11. That's great just play them when they are ready and healthy. There is no rush. Health is number 1 priority now as I believe Gafford and PJ injuries shouldn't be rushed either.

  12. This is literally even worse… Now we're gonna win too many games.
We traded away Luka and Kyrie's gonna be out for a year… what in the world do we want to do in the Playoffs with just AD?
We're just gonna slide just deep enough into the playoffs to MISS OUT ON THE DRAFT LOTTERY!!! IT JUST KEEPS GETTING WORSE!
    FIRE NICO!!!
