  1. Ku, sorry, but I don't buy your fears o the Bucks. WSe have the same record they do, and THEY HAVE PLAYED AN EASIER SCHEDULE to this point, and on top of that the Pistons didn't really get it together unto January, so how about doing some comparisons between the Buck and Pistons since them? Ku, the Bucks are exactly what their record says they are. So all the teams they have lost to had answers for Giannis, yet we don't even have a chance against this team who is tied with us having played an easier schedule and have been behind us significantly since January. So nope, I don't fear them any more than I do the Pacers.

  2. Have to think about who are best pg in NBA! SGA, Luka Doncic, ? Best Cade most likely would be All NBA3rd team but not likely , probably Brunson or Halliburton!

  3. Indiana's the biggest threat they Young and been to the conference finals last year the Knicks and Bucks don't scare me at all

  4. Cade Cunningham still working in a phone booth this season. The narrative has been “we got cade shooting” but really we just started defending and cade carrying.

The spacing m / offensive installs needs to be better going forward. We need to be proactive with having ausar be useful on that end… but instead jb relegating him to the gulag

  5. Ausar def looks pissed and I don't think it has anything to do with him shooting poorly or lack of ball handling. Ausar is very well known as a totally unselfish player and team first guy. He puts his pride on defense. And I think it's on the defensive end what's causing him frustrated because of foul trouble for the past 3 games. He's all about being impactful for the team wherever that needs to be and him being in foul trouble limits his impact offensively especially defensively where he thrives.

  6. I’m torn on if the NBA will rig it so Indy and Det play in the 1st round for that rivalry or have the Pistons fall to the 6 seed to give the Knicks the best chance to advance.

  7. Tobias Harris has very average NBA athletic ability at best. But, Tobias is flat smart, he studies the game. His knowledge of the game is such that he might become a coach someday. He also works very, very hard off season and even during the season at staying in peak condition and he works at specific basketball skills. The guy is a work-a-holic and he is a natural on court teacher and teamnate. He is a great example to the young Pistons at how a pro should comport himself in his career. Ausar is young but he has a great attitude toward the game. Bickerstaff is the perfect coach for Ausar. Bickerstaff has done a really impressive job with this team this year.

  8. Schroeder was important for the non Cade minutes.

But Ausars development is so much more important long term, than playing Cade and Schroeder together.

I'd rather lose knowing we're getting good reps for Ausar, than win because our rental player bailed us out.

  9. Ku, I don’t get how you are so bad at math for the standing-LOL. Indy’s win over the Bucks gives them the same record, so we couldn’t be split between them. We are tied in games back, but have played 2 more games so have one more win and one more loss than both which puts us percentage points behind them in the standings. We finish with back to back games against the Bucks, so the end of the season could be intense.

  10. Ku, with regards to Ausar’s usage, you need to remember the knocks on JB coming from the Cavs. Great culture and defense guy, good on teaching young guys, BUT not creative on the offense and not great for in game adjustments. Pretty much what we’ve seen.

  11. Ausar is too impactful of a player to not see meaningful minutes in the clutch. Ausar also is so aggressive on defense you can usually tell early in a defensive possession that Ausar will either get a steal or a foul. As if those are literally the only options for that particular possession.

  12. Bucks have the hardest games left …. And the lost to Indiana. So it makes it much harder. .. pistons play the bucks the last two games of the season …. Bad foul call ….

  13. The other huge change that happened recently with Ausar, they’ve stripped him of the ability to make plays as a lead ball handler. For instance: When they finally do allow Ausar to bring the ball up the court nearly 100% of his passes are going to Cade off of a screen or curl. Someone must have told him or coached, him to just get the ball to Cade and get out of the way. That’s why his assists are down and that’s why he’s been upset. At a certain point in time we have to decide what’s most important. Is it winning as a team or individual accomplishments? Chuck Daley had to have that conversation with Isiah early in his career. Chuck told Isiah, do you want to win or do you want to just have fun and get stats.

  14. while I also think it’s important for ausar to get the ball more for his development. it also makes the pistons and cade more dangerous if ausar can play on the ball more. they’re easier to stop when it’s just cade doing all of the playmaking. but their offense is much better when ausar, cade and duren can make plays and then mix in the schroder minutes on various situations especially when cade is off the floor

  15. Ausar is yes being handsey with petty fouls , he’s frustrated with not having the ball as a secondary ball handler. Ausar is shinning and Cade isn’t looking for him “he’s ball hogging. “ under the basket I personally think they shouldn’t feature Sheoder he’s a journeyman at best and he slows the offense down and Ausars a future all star. JB needs to reevaluate this immediately.

  16. Ausar is in shock, he experienced what DVE is all about in his hometown against the Warriors.

He just has to figure out how to play 5v8 as a Piston.

  17. Holland taking 3s shouldn’t be a thing. In no world is that a good shot for our offense or for him. If your open either drive and get to rim or get to a floater, or drive and pass. It’s just like Ausar last year. If he wants to shoot, great. But don’t do it from 3. It’s a selfish bad shot. Surprised this hasn’t been coached out. He shoots 22%

  18. Arguably, Donovan has had a better season than Cade. BUT, you can argue the other way too. As far as who I'd pick now, I'd pick Cade because he's younger and taller than Mitchel. Donovan has Cade on athleticism. BUT, I give Cade the edge. You can neither teach height nor youth! Both are great players!

  19. Ausar is a team player, he wasn't upset about not having the ball, he was upset about the fouls he kept getting called against him. I even saw Cade put his arm around him for encouragement and then he made a concerted effort to get Ausar an easy dunk and an open pass, to get his head back in the game.
That said, Ausar has got to be smarter and not get in foul trouble. JB can not, nor should he, rely on him for anything else than defense, if he can't stay on the floor.
