Great hustle from the Mavs but they was gassed in that 4th period. Naji, B-Will, Exum, Kess, etc balled out. The ball was moving and Klay seems to be picking up on Kidd's scheme as his assist are being recognized and Kidd vice versa is understanding Klay's game. Mavs lost was bound to happen as they have no real force on the boards/paint protection. Won't change until one of the Bigs get back but don't rush them back. Health is top priority rn.
Mavs shot 55% from the field and had 30 team assist total. Great considering no All Star is playing rn on the Hospital Mavs except Klay.

I think there’s an argument to be made that if AD can play he should. Meaningful minutes with him, PJ, and Lively would be huge. It would give us an opportunity to see what to do in the offseason. Maybe we swing for the fences with KD, maybe we just look to fill the creation void with a stopgap while we wait on Kai and don’t decimate the depth. Either way, seeing AD with one of if not both of our other bigs and PJ for a “playoff” push would shine a little more light on what we need to do in the summer. Also with PJ being the OKC killer and our size I could almost squint and talk myself into a series with OKC 😂 plus PHX is going to keep snatching defeat from the jaws of victory so we may have no choice but to go for it
