  1. Wait… I watched the game. Yes, Wiggins didn’t have his best offensive game statistically, but every shot and take that he had was a high-percentage smart one we can trust he will make. I think that needed to be said.

I think you overstate his defensive shortcomings.

  2. Cason Wallace was very physically strong defensively and confident offensively. Able to switch onto anyone including Tatum Brown and Horford

  3. thought the same thing with brian. The amount of vids ive seen him talking about how ppl in the league dont respect okc

  4. Rylan, I read your response about Wiggins. I think it's safe to say that come playoff time, Daigneault won't put him in a position like yesterday if at all possible. That doesn't mean he won't push him in these final 15+ games, but we clearly saw what Wiggins brings offensively when he is comfortable defensively and when he isn't.

I want to point out something. This is the worst Thunder team we will see for the next 3 years. Think about it guys, Dub is only in his 3rd season, Cason 2nd, Chet 1 1/2. It's amazing that a team this good isn't even close to as good as they will be once these kids add to their individual skillsets. Ignore the noise, this is special.

  5. Really enjoy listening to your podcasts, Mr. Stiles. I listen each morning as I drive to work. Thank you for the work you do. Regarding the game last night, you essentially covered it all, as always. One piece you did not have time to mention (can’t cover everything in 30 minutes) is how huge Kendrick Williams was in the minutes he played. He played 21 minutes, scored 10 points with 3/6 shooting and 2/5 from three point land. Four boards. Just looked and he was apparently -9 in minutes played, but it did not feel like that. Seemed he played aggressive defense. He did pick up 4 fouls in 21 minutes, which might have factored into the -9. I like K Williams a lot. Hope he gets more time on the floor in the games ahead. Glad he is under contract again next year, with a club option the year after.

  6. If Shai gets a healthy Dub or Chet plus the supporting cast, they'll be in good shape for the playoffs, if both guys are ready to go then I like their chances for this year.

  7. Wiggins is a bit streaky. You just got to let him do his thing. Because with more reps, I think he can be a third option while Jalen Williams is injured.

  8. That Thunder haven’t yet proved it in the playoffs is not nothing. Fear is an exaggerated term – what it means is a lot of teams would prefer to be in OKC’s side of the bracket. Playoffs are a different level – more pressure, constant scheme adjustments, more physical, and teams putting their best possible version on the floor. I hope Thunder prove the doubters wrong, but lack of deep playoff success is a legitimate potential weakness, and it’s not lazy for Windy to report what other teams are thinking.
