Malone made a strategic miscalculation 8 years ago when he decided he was going to turn Murray into Little Jokic. Murray’s not that guy, his play is inconsistent, like most guys in the league. The downside of this is that the benchwarmers never develop and the Nuggets trade away tons of talent. A first or second round exit this year should absolutely motivate a coaching change. Malone's biggest weakness as a coach is his use of the bench. He needs to go deeper into the bench on a consistent basis, he needs to better mix and match starters and reserves, and he needs to take starters out if they aren't performing. What, now suddenly Jordan can't play? Saric was a solid reserve for good teams in years past, and now he can't even get a minute? Have we stopped developing Tyson? Hell, if we're losing anyway, you might as well get some guys in there for real minutes who give a crap.

I mean jamal needs 25 points every game on 50% shooting if they want to have a chance. The whole offense is ran through jokic but if his teammates cant make a shot they are still going to get dominated. It's not like they are super good on defense to make up for the inconsistent offense. Also I feel like on their winning streak watson and strawther were each getting 10-15 points a game.
