Jimmy Butler Reportedly Wanted To Be Valued By Miami Heat | Miami Losing Trade Badly Right Now

Tobin reacts to the Andscape feature story on Jimmy Butler that talked about how he has adapted to life in Golden State and why he wanted out of Miami. The Heat franchise is down big on this trade right now and has only hope that Butler and the Warriors can’t go that far in the playoffs for the next couple of years but right now it ain’t looking so good

  1. It’s so funny how quick the opinions change, they valued Jimmy plenty, all those reports about letting him take his own jets, letting him coast throughout the regular season, letting him miss entire games during the regular season, you don’t let a guy do that if you don’t value him. I’m tired of people acting like it’s unreasonable for the Heat to not want to pay a 35 year old with an injury history 60 million dollars. He literally came to the Heat in the first place because he wanted to be held accountable, he wanted guys to get into his face and tell him what he needs to be better at because he was going to do that to the same to them to get the best versions of themselves. And things were fine like that for a while, the whole Jimmy Spo timeout argument was a perfect example of that, and we had a great season after that. But the second Pat comes out and basically says hey man you gotta stay healthy during the regular season so you don’t have to pull off these miracles every year, Jimmy gets all up in his feelings. And people gotta stop saying “well the heat never gave Jimmy any help” when they literally were all in on Lillard, they didn’t go after Beal or Mitchell cause they were set on Dame and they would’ve gotten him if his GM didn’t turn all sour puss and scorn their franchise player by banishing him to Milwaukee. The revisionist history is crazy.😒 rant over man.

  2. Can't blame him for having enough, the team made a couple huge mistakes and ruined his finals chances. Herro is great, but you can't say that giving him that contract helped the heat in the playoffs the last 5 years. It's paying off now for the future, but Herro, Duncan, Lowry, Rozier were all pieces taking up cap space and not really elevating the team to championship caliber

  3. all of y’all hating on butler. Stop it. Everything is already coming back to the heat. So might as well be peaceful.

  4. We got Tyler and Bam due to rough seasons.

The Heat needs to focus on themselves. Just be better at closing and you're good.

  5. F Jimmy. Pat tried to relate to him and leaks to media” oh Pat was crying “ gtfooh. Jimmy didn’t care about nobody but him. He let the team down. Never forget
