credit to bridges for doing it professionally. Who is this guy ? His assessment of the team is pretty off. Mika’s is right and have every to speak up. I’m not sure if he aired out the coach or just giving props to the bench. What ppl fail to realize Mikal has the hardest task every night. He has to defend the best ball handler and find a way to get his self in a rhythm, when we all see the ball/plays aren't designed for him to be in lead actions.
It's easy to say Hart or other players have energy on the offensive end when they barely play defense.
Obviously, I'm not a part of the team. Don't be in the locker room, but Bridges didn't consult himself before saying all this. The players have been talking, and he ended up being the one to say it. He's absolutely not the only person to feel that way

The biggest impact on the defense can be seen on the switching. Or should I say that lacks thereof. With Mitch in the middle, the guards are better position to defend the three point shot. It just seems to me that the defenders, know exactly where's to be now

While KD might be out there, there is only one perfect player for the Knicks. The only player that can make KAT at the 5 make sense. You need a defensive oriented stretch 4 to play the 5 spot on defense so Kat can play the 5 on offense. And that player is…..Jaren Jackson Jr. Jackson can hit the 3, is close to 7 ft and has been a DPOY candidate. Memphis is desperate for a defensive wing. Starting Triple J next to Towns is the only way to maximize Kat as a center. The only player I’m trading Bridges for, if it came to that, would be Jaren Jackson Jr. Triple J is the only defensive big that doesn’t ruin the spacing. This is why playing Towns and Mitch together is a problem. Jackson brings the defense and shooting to offset Towns lack thereof. Jaren Jackson Jr is the perfect fit for this iteration of Knicks basketball.

I disagree with Kirk saying Mikal is the wrong guy to speak on minutes. Mikal has never missed a game, has never complained, he just does his thing. He’s the Ironman of the NBA of course his comments hold weight. But can’t argue with the results after last nights game winner although I would like to McBride get more run. I just think this should’ve been kept in house between coach and player.
