MVP is about most VALUABLE player … there is no more impactful player when you look at team performance and best offensive rating when he's on the court vs worst in the league when he's off the court. His passing is arguably the best in league and historically amongst the best of the best… as a CENTER.
NBA commentators are beyond biased when it comes to SGA. SGA is a FT hunter and the refs/game enables his success with the lamest fouls called in his favor when there's phantom contact and never call him shrugging off players with his off arm. He doesn't make his teammates better… doesn't pass doesn't rebound … just scores predominantly on his FTs. He's a point chaser. Where was he last year against Mavs as top seeded team against 5th seed.
No GM would pick Shai over Jokic if there was a draft today … not over Luka not over Giannis… not over Tatum… not one….
