I’ll say this as a Bay Area native and warriors fan.. I would call it a rivalry.. but these games between them were always great.. it’d be different if Both teams were on top at the same time but that didn’t really happen besides the 7 game series that had a couple seasons back.. it’s a fun mini rivalry maybe? But nah I would call Warriors Lakers more of a rivalry tbh

They were afraid to say it, but with their depth and their experience, GSW might be the second best in the West and have the “Nobody believes in us!” chip to play. Scary
Kings vs Warriors is not a rivalry. It's a fun match up location wise, and that's it. Warriors have 4 rings, and Kings have never even been to the Finals. Not even in the discussion.
