AJ Lawson poured in 32 points fo the Raptors in a win versus the Wizards. Jared Rhoden had his first NBA start. Colin Castleton played his second game for the Raptors. Can any of these guys be more for the Raptors?

    Orlando Robinson needs to b brought back next year we are tired of not having depth at center and he been playing meaningful minutes he deserve a spot next year back up or third strong center. He is still young we gotta build a better center rotation and letting one go when so many other teams are just as desperate is something I'm tired of seeing happen.

    At this stage who cares if we get a high draft pick if you have g-leaguers like Lawson casually scoring 32 points and tiny guards (Shead) throwing down put-back dunks. Impressive.

    Rhoden is slow footed; AJ Lawson is a bit slim but moves well…he's also the better defender between the 2 IMO. I think Castleton is very intriguing and has more upside than Robinson…..Castleton needs to bring it on the defensive side though, lacks intensity on that end of the floor, not sure about his foot speed, or boxing out other bigs….

    Player assessment while playing poor and tanking teams can make us over estimate what we're actually seeing. Play for instance in Cavs and instantly you see just how low end so many of these "exciting" players really are. Fun but it's much of an illusion. Fun for the fans after this hard luck season with a criminally imbalanced schedule combined with a historically bad luck injury record.
    As has been said and elsewhere for the Raptors to eventually breakthrough they need that high pick this year. Obviously they're too good once healthy so next year they'll not be anywhere this bad.

    The first question is not if Lawson can find playing time in the future, but if he can play in the NBA, period. Yes, he is a bucket getter, but it takes work ethic to put in a game by game consistent effort and to become a big leaguer. He has been waived by a few teams already. Begs the question, why? This game could be a flash in the pan and we’ll see him going back down to third string level of play.

    I'm beyond excited for next season. We've got a core group of legit hoopers up and down the bench.
    Call them try hards or call them whatever you want but I see a group of dudes that will play hard each and every game.

    Do like Rhoden. NBA body and can absrb contact when attacking the rim. Initially thought he was SB until I saw his uniform number. Lawson is quick and wiry and not afraid to shoot. Will probably work on his consistency during the summer. I like the defensive upside of both. Will be interested in seeing if the Raptors draft a center to see where Robinson and Castleton potentially land, either as backup or third centers.
