Years in the making? Adelsons bought the team less than two years ago this all starts with them balking over paying Luka a supermax and Nico Harrison being an idiot with his head so far up his own ass he couldn't see the terrible trade proposal for what it was terrible lol.
The Adelsons want gambling legalized in Texas so they can put a casino in the arena and just have the team earn them lots of money while doing nothing and the worst part is Mark Cuban knew. You're telling me he had no idea who these people are? Lol LMAO even. They fund war crimes and are one of the biggest supporters of the current administration in charge of the US government, horrible people and Cuban thought it would be a great idea to collaborate with them and got betrayed because of course he did Leopards eating faces moment.

If those are the real reasons behind Luka's-AD trade, it's total crazy, like…crazy in the sense of mad. The conditioning of Luka is beyond stupid if you thing that the Mavs just went 3 games to win the title. Moreover the story unfolds: Shaq wasn't a great offseason worker and was often out of shape but they found the right way to make things work. Blame to Mavs front office, despite AD being a great player.

The owners had to tell him to do this, so they would not have to pay him or some other reason.No owner would sign off on this trade,because it's not just trading luka,it's the pathetic return you got for him.
In my opinion, Luka, growing up in Europe like he did and talks like he does, pissed off Nico. I think it was behind the scenes and Nico made as many moves as he could to prove it was and is, HIS team. It hurt and overworked who is left. Now, Nico is left.
If I was a young NBA player the Mavs are the last franchise I would want to work for.

Mavs has history, ever since not paying , They let go Nash they break the championship team because they don’t want to pay Tyson Chandler and so on …. If your 90s fan until now you know since 2006 Dirk already accepting pay cut to improve the team offers but he stayed….

The Owner would actually look LESS crazy if he stops dropping these statements showing how nonsensical his thought process was on this trade. Saying g you don't t think Luka's body will hold up so you trade for a 31 year old Power Forward who has been Injury Prone since he was a Teenager, and you put your Stock in Kyrie who can become a free agent, and in my opinion he was the one who underperformed in The finals last year, at least earlier in that series. And your counting on Kyrie to be not just your number #1 but your ONLY offense Generator/Initiator, let me tell yall somthing, having Luka really negated the Mavs getting the full Kyrie experience and getting to see his limitations as a player and leader. Especially Kyrie as a consistent offense generator. dont be surprised if Kyrie and Klay want out, I think when Kyrie left Boston and went to Brooklyn to play with KD , he finally accepted thats hes not a Number 1 option on a contender. Mavericks talking about win now, but With this Injury it is Likely The mavericks will miss the playoffs this year and next, even if Kyrie comes back after the all star break next year he wont be near full strength . You wanna talk about a Trade the NBA should Have Vetoed this was the one, this trade was LOPSIDED. If Mavs front office had ANY basketball knowledge they would have Given Luka the Super Max before trading him, hes WAY more valuable to a potential suiter on a 5 year Deal. Who was the person who employed Nico as GM ? MARC CUBAN ! And for the last month or so he was just trying to convince anybody who was unhappy with Luka trade to LAL, that he ( Cuban ) had no idea that Luka were going to be traded ? Hello ???? Who hired Nico and why? Did Cuban oppose any of the Nico decisions that lead to firing numerous people that were close to Luka ? Luka is gone and you guys made it happen. Of course we will include and basketball and fitness specialist and guru who became the new Mavericks owner. Does it smell of vaseline in the arena ?

I tell you where this team will be the trash heep. Mavs have their 25 and 26 first rounds picks then nothing until 31. All their top teir stars are older. It will be a decade to get this team back to where it was and that is assuming Nico doesn't give away their next two first rounders in some dumba** move to get an old decrepit Kevin Durant.
