Cut the MAVS some slack. They are in the middle of a rebuild that is going to get them back to where they were last year. If they are really lucky, they can tank really hard and draft a player as good as Luka Doncic to help them reach their goals. Then again, there is no one in that draft nearly as good as Luka. Then, why would anyone really want to sign with Dallas anyhow? Dallas apparently loves trashing their own players when they leave. What I find most funny though is when the owner of the MAVS held up Shaq as an example of work ethic and health. Meanwhile, he forgets to mention the pillar of the Mavericks franchise — Dirk — who, by all accounts, is a great guy. Amazing!
Still wanna see the team succeed but the way y’all have handled Luka’s exit will ensure that other players don’t trust this front office. Crazy stuff what you’ve done
