Reggie, I was born in 1986… by the time Jordan was coming back for the next 3, I truly screamed and yelled and cheered like the little kid I was for you to beat them! … And I miss every part of that! Anyways, Reggie…Mr. Miller… my family moved in 1987 from Thousand Oaks/ Oxnard California in 1987….I was 1. I'm still in this small Arizona town to this day and still rooting for a team that I have absolutely zero connection with or the area the team originates from… I've never been to Indiana, honestly. The closest I've been was Sioux Falls South Dakota for about a month… but I don't have family anywhere close to their. There wasn't anyone trying to influence our push me towards loving the Indiana Pacers…. Just my love as a kid laying on the living room carpet floor watching espn in the mornings, just waiting to see something from the game the night before…. And watching the way you played… God, I wish they would have allowed you to put up 7-8 three pointers a game back then…I wonder with 2-3 extra three pointers attempted a game, what that would have looked like? You are my favorite basketball player ever, Reggie Miller. And from the bottom of my heart, sir, I thank you very much for entertaining me all those years…. if there was only more like you, we would ok… but I'm pretty sure Mr. Haliburton has that under control.. much love and health, Tyrese!!!
