They are not just playing all those minutes, they are being beat up physically the entire time. Awful offensive schemes and zero ball movement every game. Thibs has the problem.

The Knicks were hammered by injuries last season, not really due to Thibs approach. They’ve been generally much healthier this season and Brunson only got hurt in overtime landing on another players foot. If the playoffs come and they start dropping like flies or look clearly gassed and get knocked out early, then the criticism is warranted. If the Knicks can stay healthy though and have a good showing in a second round series against the Celtics, I’m not sure why the negativity would be aimed at Thibs. Theyve seen more success with him as their coach than they’ve seen since the 90s and all of a sudden he’s in trouble? Maybe he just doesn’t want player concerns being aired out in the media. He doesn’t want to discuss what goes on between him and his team behind closed doors because sports media creates conflict and division. Ask SAS how he feels about Bronny instead.
