  1. Cade was looking a little worn out and side note the wizards beat the nuggets by a couple of points 😂. Great show BTW…

  2. Stewart was called for a loose ball foul when he pulled Jaylin Williams out of the paint. happened at the same time that Dort slipped and fell. had nothing to do with Stewart and Dort tho.

  3. Ausar uses an exorbitant amount of energy on the floor. I think you have to balance his minutes considering that blood clot diagnosis.

  4. From a league perspective, foul baiting has always been part of the game. Once you’ve become a recognized superstar you can foul bait and most of the time you get the benefit of the doubt. For those who remember, this became an issue for the bad boys, during the rise of Jordan. After the all star game in Indiana, a couple of years ago a memo was sent out league wide to allow more physical basketball. Some players adapted and others like Luka and Murray spent most of the time complaining during the playoffs last year.

Let’s hope that this year’s playoffs allow for tough, physical defenses especially because that’s our identity with the Pistons. Go watch the Atlanta game where the refs adjusted the fouls to give Young the benefit of the doubt or when we played Denver and Malone got a Tech on the first possession of the game because Duran was being to Physical with Jokic. Players scoring 40,50 and 60 points used to be a rarity in the 80s and 90s. Now you see it happen every night. The way the league protects its superstars, gives them the ability to play 20 years if they take care of their body. There’s a reason that Isiah, Bird, Jordan etc only played around 13 seasons. It was fucking tough back then man! Let these guys settle the game on the court and find some balance between too physical and rewarding the best flopping foul baiting superstars.

  5. A ref has only done a good job if they go completely unnoticeable, and they'd do well to remember that…..
