The Phoenix Suns came into today’s game against Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves and the Los Angeles Lakers seeking to win back-to-back games for the first time since January, and the game was over before the end of the first quarter. Luka went off for his 7th consecutive 30-point game against Phoenix, and the Suns failed to capitalize on the Dallas Mavericks losing a game to the 76ers, hurting their play-in chances. I legitimately think it’s crazy that any team actually wants to trade for Durant or Booker. They both look bad. Trade massive assets for two max paid players who consistently underperform; any team that does this is going to regret it

I know basketball and I can't see a path where playing someone who consistently doesn't finish games due to injury leads to better trade leverage for the Suns. On Beal: The decision of shutting down Beal should have nothing to do with any of the following: 1) His trade value in the offseason; 2) How much money he makes this season or next season, 3) How much he likes it, 4) What kind of message it sends to the team or the fan base. Let's not be retarded.
Does Beal help you win games? If the team benefits from him playing, then play him. If the answer is 'no', and the reason why is because he's HURT, then sit him UNTIL HE GETS BETTER (100% healthy). If he's not helping you even when he IS healthy, then you should be benching him anyway. Shutting him down for the rest of the season doesn't make any sense to me. But if he's playing hurt, and not helping you by doing so, then SIT HIM. We need to give run to these younger guys anyway. We need to WIN GAMES. I believe in Beal. But he should be held to the same standard as everybody else. If he can't play, then he shouldn't play. Regardless of why. Common sense, folks.
