He took the Nets to the playoffs with LeVert and Allen as his biggest options… He made a BOTTOM OF THE EAST Hornets to being a Play-In team that shot up to top 10 in offensive rating. They needed more defense and players but man improves EVERY team he goes to. Biggest thing to touch on, he was there for that 2022 Warriors championship. He knows what winning is, he was crucial in helping win it. Cavs are ready to make a deep run, possibly get that chip. Hope they do.
Mobley is cavs best player he’s about to win dpoy and averages 18. He’s a top 3 defensive player in nba i guess that doesn’t count? Mitchell best offensive Mobley best player tho
Agree that of course, the 2016 championship team is remembered as the “best”. However, if this team keeps up and gets 68-70 wins, they are statistically one of the best teams of all time. Statistically more efficient and better than any LeBron team… But the “best” team doesn’t always win. We saw that when Cleveland won, beating the 73 win warriors.
The scary part is The Cavs starter’s haven’t been shooting well and the bench players been do it…. When you can rest 3 crucial players… you’re a great team.
The Cavs were injured last year in the playoffs vs The Celtics, and Boston lucked out every round of the Eastern Conference playoffs because every team had a major injury when they faced them…

3. Mobley stepping up (because of coaching)
4. Health, for the entire team
5. Continuity, no major trades after Mitchell's three seasons with us
