  1. David Fizdale type energy in that interview. I love JB Bickerstaff, Ku. He's our coach of the future. Love love love JB.

  2. Ku I disagree.. The refs definitely impacted the outcome of this game.. JB had every right to go off! 5 techs in the 3rd alone is insane!

  3. Pistons have been jobbed by NBA refs regularly. The Knicks game last year where a Piston was purposely cut down by a football body block comes to mind. Trajan and Gores have to lay seige to the NFL front office about this and they shoulld do it assertively. Cade gets hit time after time and he does not get the call. Camera don't lie, ball don't lie.

  4. I feel like the Pistons never had respect in the NBA as far as officials I've been a Pistons fan all my life I am 36 years old I've always seen refs All over the NBA treat the Pistons with no respect think about our last coach Monty remember last year he went crazy over officiating call I don't remember what it was about but it was a similar situation on how the team was getting treated but hey I like how JB react you know I like how heated he was like show the NBA that this franchise ain't going to back down from nobody let it be heard I feel like pistons is the only franchise in the NBA always get treated like shit they are a NBA team full of professional players just like all the rest of the teams why is the Pistons different

  5. JB had a reason to be upset. The refs had a bad game, no different than when a player has a bad game. He lost me with the reasoning of his team not being shown respect

  6. Cade needs to get back to how he was playing from the end of December to mid February, he’s playing his worst ball at the worst time of the season and could play himself out of All NBA teams if he doesn’t pick it up

  7. Ref screwed this game up, they need more composure on giving out Ts. Also, i think the hostile act was being reviewed on Cade because how dortz fell down. They reversed it and ack dortz fell on his teammates foot. On another note, we need a ball handling coach, Ausar, Ron, And of course Cade got picked so easily. I’ve never seen guys get picked straight up dribbling at someone more than piston players.

  8. Bickerstaff was right in his comments the refs were terrible but they werent the reason they lost at all it was also really smart that he said that he just watns his team to gain resect from the refs

  9. At this point Stew could shake the opponents hand with a smile on his face and the officials will review it for a hostile act. I'm not a conspiracy theorist but at this point it seems like officials are collectively looking for reasons to give him technicals and flagrants.

  10. I was at the game last night and without a doubt Repeatedly the refs took the life out of the pistons! It was absolutely atrocious, I've been to plenty of games but I have never seen an arena be as appalled at the calls that were happening that night! The pistons lost that game because of the refs without a doubt! Horrible calls and disrespect sucked the energy out of all the players

  11. We could have helped ourselves by staying out of foul trouble. Ron Holland had a smooth touch at the rim that night (always does), then the refs started letting whistles fly, and he got flustered. He could have had a big night if he stayed cool.

  12. There's a reason why Dennis had been never stable, moved around as a journeyman. Agree, let the youth continue flourish!

  13. ? Birkenstaff wasnt blaming the refs. If you listen to what he says, that is pretty clear. He is just talking about the discrepancies between how the refs treat different teams.

  14. I disagree with you on that one, Ku. I understand that we can’t put all on refs, but they influenced directly in the game. They ejected our best player in the 3rd (it doesn’t matter how he was playing to that point), and was a tight game. Things COULD have gone another way at the 4th. The refs suck and I even have pointed out the other mistakes

  15. Ku, Based on what was said over the mic, it sure sounded like they were associating Stewart with the slip when he was on the oppoosite side of the court. They said Stew did not trip this player. He couldn't have as he was on the opposite side of the court. Their very bad communication is what understandably confused Cade. Why were the refs talking about Stewart in connection with the slip. They should not have mentioned Stewart as possible participant in the slip. Thats why Cade was rightly confused and rightly mad.

  16. A lot of cases turnovers are fouls for everyone else I think that’s why he’s been so pissed lately

  17. No the refs interfered. Im not a Pistons fan but you have to be an idiot to think they didnt impact the 2nd half. Garbage calls and ejecting the best player=interfering with the game.
And this is not the first time I heard people complaining about OKC getting soft calls…

  18. I had no issues with the free throws this game, but you cant eject the best player on our team, and then T up 3 more people for complaining about it. Its such BS

  19. They're not supposed to beat this team, it's fine; the goal is to maintain the 6 spot and avoid the play-in, which would be a tremendous accomplishment after last year!

  20. J.B needs to find ways to rest Cade a little during the game. Like how when good teams rest their top guys late season for playoff runs. Pop used to rest Paker and Duncan leading up to the playoffs.

  21. I was at the game Saturday and the reffing was about the worst I have ever seen. Not just the bad calls, those happen off and on every game, but the tech’s were outrageous. And the (lack of) explanation of what was going on was inexcusable. This crew needs to be suspended. The chants of ref you suck were deafening in the packed (nice to see) arena and were even joined in by the OKC fan sitting next to me.

  22. Ku, I agree with your Cade assessment, he does look a bit tired. Maybe the extra quarter + of rest will help out. But it goes beyond the shot. He seems like he is bringing up the ball and initiating the offense a little more slowly than earlier in the season. This could also lead to less usage for Ausar and Duren as when things move slower there is less opportunity for multiple sets on offense when the first doesn’t work out. I know that is hard to push when you aren’t getting stops, but you can still initiate with a little more urgency. It was one thing I thought Cade had really improved this year and that it helped the entire team look better. Hopefully he can find that pep in his step again.

  23. Disagree with u the refs definitely helped them you tripping fam there was 16 min left in the game and they ejected him that matters

  24. I see Cade screwing up a lot…..he tries to do it all himself…..the team actually played better without him…..tell me I’m wrong…..
    …..

  25. Cade got exposed in this one. It’s just one game I know but you saw what a superstar looks like with Shai. Cades not there yet. Cade needs to work on being less predictable. Become more elusive and explosive. He gets trapped too easily, plays too slow. Until he improves there he won’t be unguarded like guys like Shai are. And the three point shooting. Yikes.

  26. I think the pistons are responsible here. Refs don’t like JB. He doesn’t respect the refs. I think that’s part of the reason we get a tough whistle. And now our players are bitching too much. They need to quit it and just play man. They do that and they get a better whistle.
