  1. I’m surprised to not see more Raptors fans look at Asa Newell. A bit undersized but he seems like he could be a starting Center in the NBA

  2. Rasheer Fleming if you haven’t done him yet. Would be more helpful to search if you put the player in the title

  3. I’m concerned about Fears usage stats and how he will perform if he’s just getting 15 or 20% usage on the Raptors. He also seems a little bit undersized for what we need.

  4. He’s definitely raw and has a heliocentric play type but he’s a good gamble if we’re stuck around pick 6-8. Reminds me of an underdeveloped Jaden Ivey

  5. Portlander here. I was at last night's game and finally got to see the Raps play! Blazers were getting smoked early and it was evident the lack of size against Jakob and Castleton was hurting us on the glass. Also Darko had fantastic out of time out plays. Made several quick buckets before defense was set. Shead was fearless. Blazers did not respect Battle's 3 enough. Thankfully I knew the raptors would perform the reverse comeback to secure the tank!

  6. Thank you for giving us another in depth video. Personally I believe if we do draft Fears, according to his high upside, we can start him in the Raptors 905 and let him develop his skills and work on his weaknesses.
According to statistics for the last few years, our team has struggled with spacing the floor with players like RJ, Scottie and Jak more comfortable at getting their shots in the paint. I would hate to see RJ leave, because though we are 2019 NBA Champs, it is still hard to attract top 10 free agent players to our city. RJ is not a top 10 player, but he wants to play for his hometown team.
Besides having a backup to Jak, the next very important area for constructing a successful and winning roster is to have 3 point specialists, who can play decent defense to stay on the floor but can help space the floor when Ingram and Scottie attract all the attention.
Someone close to a Ochai or Battle.
How would Jeremiah Fears help, if he becomes like a Donovan Mitchell, then having sharp shooters to kick out would be beneficial, not to mention building our "bench mob" as the sixth man is another area we need to build on.
Its a work in progress, good sir.

  7. Outside of the top 4 + Khaman and Newell (cause of the fit) I'd rather take a chance at fears that draft Kon, Quenn, Jakucionis… His upside is way higher and Raps are good at developing
