Rob has been unsuccessful his whole entire career. His resume has no real awards, no marriage, no self sustained relevance within the sports media universe.
He was a flunkee on First Take, until he got fired and then nothing else from there.

Steph is a winner regardless of 73-9 and being up 3-1 in the Finals the same season and losing to a qualified Cavs team. Lebum was not alone in the Finals, nor was Curry. They both played how they play, sometimes great and sometimes not so great.
In the end, they are both Icons. I never rocked with Lebum because he is deficient as an NBA player.
However, I do recognize that he is an icon.
