The Oklahoma City Thunder are LEGIT title contenders, probably the best team in the entire league, and every single stat, advanced analytic, and eye test metric you can use tells you that’s true

But… the NBA doesn’t seem to respect them

Despite being talented, fun to watch, great on both sides of the ball

The NBA is just not afraid of the Thunder

So why is that… well I am going to tell you, and I am going to tell you why the NBA is simply wrong

  1. Yes dallas bench playee PJ carried them. He had a series of breakout shootings in that series which he didnt do all year. Should or put dort on him instead of cry baby luka

  2. Respect is given, it's earned. Thunder are about to get that respect put on their name though, true respect when we get that championship.

  3. Please dont try to downplay their lost agains Dallas. They okc was not even close and I GIVE THEM 0 CHANCE COMMING OUT OF THE WEST

  4. They are a regular season team like when Donovan Mitchell played for the jazz or when derozan played for the raptors they will lose in the 2nd round

  5. Unrelated to the video, but I think we might have seen enough already and I think this is what the 2028 USA team will look like:
Guards: Cade Cunningham, Jalen Brunson, Anthony Edwards, Donovan Mitchell, and Devin Booker
Forwards: Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Paolo Banchero, Jalen Williams
Bigs: Evan Mobley, Jaren Jackson Jr., Chet Holmgren

  6. Im sorry but historically young teams dont finish. This isnt new even with their record pacing. Playoffs are different, you shorten the bench and its more physical. Ill put money they wont make the WCF. Especially if they get GS or LA in round 2

  7. This clown is really saying Austin Reeves and Jordan Clarkson are better 2nd options than JDub?? 😮 I can’t listen to this nonsense anymore. The 8 minutes Shai will sit will be more than fine with JDub, Wiggins, Caruso, Chet, iHart.

  8. Jaylen Brown BREAKDOWN you're next video Sporting Logically 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤

  9. Well experience matters, a lot. OKC gotta make one deep playoff run or win it all this year for some people to take them serious title contenders. We all saw what happened to the Celtics when they faced GS. The Warriors were heavy underdog, but when the time comes Celtics couldn't perform properly.

  10. Having iHart is the determining factor that will take them further. They have size now that allows Chet to play the 4 and not have to guard the opposition 5 because he's clearly not strong enough to do that

  11. I will be shocked if the Thunder don't win it all this year. They have such a complete roster, with multiple guys who can play great if one or two get injured, sit out the game, etc. Genuinely can't think of any other team in the league that could stop them.

  12. They’ll burn through the west but fall in the finals. The lack of a consistent number 2 will become an issue and some of the younger guys will wither under the bright lights. Next year they go all the way

  13. OKC is a very small market. If their games got on tv and the talking heads babbled about them as much as, say the Lakers, there would be more “respect.” They just won last night by 30 points with all their starters sitting. Perhaps that team around the league respects them.

  14. I don’t respect the thunder because they lost in the finals already and blew a 3-1 lead to the warriors and woulda had a good matchup vs Cleveland and lost to rookie Donovan Mitchell when they had melo Russ and pg and because they took a team from a really good fanbase in Seattle all for a random ass place in the middle of Oklahoma.

  15. Aye bro, get in the gym. No fat shame but done get too far gone. I do workout plans and meal plans.

  16. Sga stats are fake. He isn’t nearly as good as the stats say and he gets exposed come playoff time every year. If it happens again this year they might as well trade him bc it’s never happening with him as the star

  17. I'd take GSW, Lakers and Nuggets over them in a series. I just don't believe a small guard can carry a team to the championship unless your name is Curry. And I agree, OKC's number 2 guy is not as reliable in the playoffs as other secondary stars in the West. Jdub is more of a third star player. The only way this team is going to win a chip this year is if Chet takes a major leap in the playoffs. But we will see, they have a top rated defense going their way.

  18. 0:28 this keeps being a stupid argument haters use, yeah they haven’t done it, until they do. The same argument was used for the 2015 warriors and look how that turned out, they got like 15 first round pick in the next years and they are already the most dominant team in the league with an MVP level player and 2 guys who can easily get to all nba level guys one of which is a skinny white guy center who can space the floor and defend at a dpoy level!
