Well looking at it. Who knows if he even has a substantially long career in LA? I mean the Lakers will need to really please him here since we knew and hes even said as a Laker that he didn't wanna come here. Hes gonna play basketball but like if he doesn't like the direction and fit the teams in along with the intense culture, maybe he tests the open market or gets traded again? Idk to me the way he's been playing. Hes moving just the same as he was in Dallas. But compared to this year is down -13.4 in PPG, -1.6 in RPG, -2.5 in APG and is shooting -11% in FG, -20% in 3PT in a season that was already considered a bit dissapointing from Luka. I get its 3 games. But the excuses dont exist anymore past game 1. We have seen Christie whos put up more points per game with way less minutes, less shots, lets touches on the ball, and has suited up for more games since the trade. Even AD. He looked like a life time Mav the way he was playing against the Rockets. Energy and level of play with the chemistry. Doncic? I mean if anything has been the reason the Lakers are losing. Teams purposely switch on him for each buckets and on offense, I mean wouldn't have had a more then like 6 points in a game if his name wasn't Luka Doncic and be wasn't allowed to take the shots he does. Again I do get it. 3 games is not enough to judge a player. Its still early and maybe it's just a combo of his mental struggles getting traded and not wanting to be with LA, hes hurt, and has 0 chemistry with his team. But I mean we seen this guy averaged like 33 10 8 2 on 48 43 85 shooting against #1 defense Twolves team while playing hurt in the finals. Not to mention I mean that Dallas team was fairly unexperienced. They only really got 13ish quality meaningful games in the season together and 2 series together. Also it's not like he's played okc okc okc 3 times in a row. Nope, he's playing against the Jazz who are the worst defensive team in the NBA other then Kessler, and the Hornets who have a below average defense. Your the best scorer in the world. You should be able to do better. I'll give it more time to give a confident prediction in this direction. But right now there are some signs that show Luka and LA aren't working.
