Tobin reacts to Jimmy Butler’s comments on his upcoming return to the Miami Heat. Butler in typical fashion didn’t give the return any life and maintains the team didn’t win like they were supposed to. He showed love to the fanbase but didn’t think the game would be anything special because he’s focused on winning with Golden State.

I’m mixed on the whole Jimmy situation but at this point I can’t wait until his career is over cause he’s not winning a ring in GS, they’re not better than LA, OKC, or Boston, so at the end of the day no matter what he does there, the most successful part of his career is gonna be in Miami and even if the fans appreciate it and let time heal the wounds he’s made, I don’t think the FO will feel the same way, I hope I’m wrong though. And tbh Pat probably won’t even be the GM by the time Jimmy is retired.
Obviously the heat are tanking for a chance to get flag. Or maybe their taking a page from Okc build a team with youth and draft picks. I know I'm going to get hate for saying this but they need to trade bam for picks and players and start from scratch. Bam isnt a superstar but getting paid like one. Sell high and get picks and players and rebuild.

I have been a Heat fan since their beginning, and there is no way that I would let Jimmy back into Miami for any reason at all.
The Heat are 15-19 at home so it's not like they're good at home so it doesn't matter if the play in games are on the road.

What Jimmy said was true. Nothing wrong with that. If anything, it’s the front office fault for not being able to build a team around him.

Jimmy ‘had some fun’ in Miami? It is always someone else’s fault when his team fails. Without Steph, GS is toast in the playoffs this year. They lost to the Hawks with Jimmy and without Steff! The Miami Heat are just another terrible organization with incompetent management that Jimmy ended up dragging kicking and screaming into the win column only to take him for granted and end to back in the Crater once he leaves.

They were a player away and managed to decline every year and were a play-in team two seasons in a row. The Dame trade fiasco was the real end of the Jimmy era. I don't think what he said was bad tbh, it was accurate.
