UCLA tried the flop a lot
We all know Tennessee isn't getting a national title though, their men's basketball program has never won a title, despite being consistently good through many seasons in their history. They'll choke in sweet 16, or they may get lucky and lose in elite eight, After that it's just rinse and repeat for many more years to come.

This game was not a close 9 pt game. The fact that UCLA would not concede a dominating loss became and led to, thus far, the most boring tourney game. It felt as though the game would never end, even though there was no way for a comeback win for UCLA., they needlesslessly and painfully kept pressing and playing hard. I think it was as difficult for the announcers to commend their "hard playing to the last" as it was to watch. There comes a time when you stop putting your players and fan base thru additional heartbreaking minutes that seem to last forever. They should have accepted their loss and just ended the game. That would have been the easiest and best for all concerned. The players for the rest of their lives, will replay that 5 minutes of 30 plus minute futility in slow motion in their minds forever. Sad.

UCLA hopeful depth chart:
PG Sky Clark – can really step up and become an all conference caliber PG
SG UNLV transfer – #1 transfer in the class
SF Eric Daily – he has a much better chance having a professional career at wing than PF. I like UCLA going with a bigger lineup given how atrocious their rebounding was
PF Tyler Bilodeau – Mr consistent. Was probably our best player this past season on a nightly basis.
C Aday Mara – 25-28minutes/game and Mara has the talent to be an all American. He should be the focal point of the offense
Bench:
Trent Perry – flashes of brilliance. Would like him to be the first off the bench
Sebastian Mack – brings an aggressive and toughness on offense that a Mick Cronin team needs
William Kyle – elite rim protecter and athlete. Could provide quality bench minutes in a more defined role
Hopefully Freeny or Williams can further develop too
