The Lakers are fortunate in that they have two clear superstars and a borderline potential superstar in Reaves, along with a couple of other decent players. Most of their bench is worthless trash but then a lot of the league is like that. When I say trash I just mean in terms on the NBA obviously even the worst NBA player would be incredible at the public park playing against regular guys after work.
Luka kills it in the first half but he always struggles in the second half. Idk what it is, whether he gets tired, or loses focus, but the man always comes out of halftime looking sluggish
It’s gotta be fools gold to hang hopes for a deep playoff run on an aged Lebron who has just come off an injury. It definitely takes the body longer to recover from injuries as you get older. The sheer fatigue of a deep playoff run is unlikely. Also you have two guys who can emotionally screw up a game over bad calls from referees. Plus both main distributors can go plus 6 turnovers each on any given night. These are things that will hurt in the playoffs. However if they have a healthy enough roster and take care of the ball, there’s a chance of them going to the WCF. I just don’t see the health of this fragile duct tape roster having the health to make it through a championship run.

The problem was the resting players when Lakers was on a roll winning games.
Lakers doesn't have a bench that can score double digit if needed. Nobody steps up.

Luka is getting atleast 3 rings but could get 5+ in his career. I think him and Lebron can get 2 the next 3 years. Either way, Lebron aint stopping until he gets 5 because he cant let Kobe have nore than him but you know he needs 6 to match MJ.

It has to run with Luka on the ball to orchestrate and LeBron the receiver to finish. Just needs rotation players for depth and continuous pressure on both ends of the floor.
This is delusional. Tatum and Brown would wipe the floor with Luka and LeBron. Good lord! What are you on?? JB pummeled Luka just last season! Did you not watch the Finals? And the idea that a 40yo LeBron is gonna keep up with prime Tatum is laughable. The Laker duo would get run out of the gym. I'm praying that the Lakers somehow make the Finals to face the C's. The beatdown of the Fakers would be fucking epic.
All these offensive stats are cute. Now do defense. FYI Luka shot 24% from three in the Finals. Tatum had more assists and fewer turnovers. There are lies, damn lies, and statistics. Cherry picked stats from a couple of dozen games, without controlling for opponent quality, means diddly squat. Good luck getting to the Finals. You'll need it.
