AD should play PERIOD. No waiting for draft stocks. Next year is Next year
The man is being paid to play. His desire to play, simply is good for this team. Any injury has a long time to heal, just let him play.
the Nets don't have any heavyweight Centers to guard the paint. This could be a nice opportunity for AD to get some bunnies around the basket
Yes, all injured guys should play if they can. The Mavs realistically can't improve their draft pick if they lose all games. They are above the real dog teams below them. Nico need to see how this team looks together so he will now what to do this off season. Phoenix is only 1 game ahead of the Mavs now. They are good for losing half their games. We would make the play in games with a more healthy lineup.
4th reason- AD gets paid to play. Let the man play!

Should anthony davis return? Heck no. He injured a left adductor. Basically his inner thigh muscles. If it was an ankle maybe, even that is ify but at least you can wrap that to protect it. But an inner thigh muscle ā¦ there is no remedy patch up except dont play

Watch closely to the words Irving uses. If Mavs sign him to max contract at 33 and torn ACL. Irving possibly was part of the whole Luka trade. That brother relationship??? Why did Irving play so poorly in the finals??? Follow the $ I just smell something fishy. But I do believe KARMA is a bitch. And maybe Nico Kidd & Irving just might be getting what goes around comes around. Nico absolutely wants AD back, it has nothing to do with winning. It is 100% about Mavs having zero chance to draft Flagg. Nico will not draft him, period. Look at his past history on white players??? If I'm wrong show me and give examples. No one wants to see glass Davis play.
No one wants to pay full price for a ticket to see AD play for 2.5 quarters and then miss the rest of the season.
The Current Players.. on this Roster.. Do Not Care about "Draft stock". Run with what you have. Be competitive, build chemistry as a team.. with the fans. They are Professional Alpha Males, they're going to want to compete. This STATEMENT by AD lets me know he's ready to go. That will motivate Lively.. at that point we're missing Kyrie. Love Ky.. but we can run with anyone with the defense play. The tough part will be the minutes everyone will have to play after the 2way guys are gone. But i trust PJ, Ad, Lively, Grimes, Hardy if he can take advantage of this opportunity. And if The Landlord comes back.. its a Block party, and the other team still has to guard AD, PJ, Klay.. thats a squad.. SMH. Ky would just be the cherry on the top. Like I said elsewhere, selfishly, I'd love to see AD play because the games will actually be fun to watch again. But it makes NO SENSE on a logical level. I'd bet real money that AD will get re-injured after he comes back which is not what we need as a team going into next year

Even without Kyrie, we are the Best team in the West. We will be unstoppable with lively gafford and AD. I am sick of these morons/media not knowing how good the Mavs are. Mavs are better than okc and Denver, but at better than Houston Memphis and whoever else is supposedly playoff worthy. The Lakers arenāt even a challenge. Finals, here we go again!

Yeah Kyrie was definitely going to leave after this season to go play with his hermanoās Luka and LeBron in Los Angeles especially with him feeling away about Kobe to. But after his injury heās resigning for financial purposes.
