As someone who played division one basketball in New York City and at the Cage and at Rucker Park I find it fascinating how somebody like Mark Cuban wants to compare people cause I’ve never seen him playing a sport, but I’d rather see him riding the bench.
His old coach also said jokic is naturally very strong. Even the nuggets players said he outlifts everyone on the team in the gym. Thats why people struggle to stop him under the post. He is probably the only center in the current league that still uses bully ball under the rim.
jokic's conditioning is insane too cuz in playoff games sometimes he barely comes out of the game at all but he can still run the floor fast in the fourth quarter and get good position on his defender(who is usually gassed from having to deal with his strength all game)

luka is more of a james harden, a ball dominant guy who has to have a very high usage rate. very ball dominant.
jokic is COMPLETE opposite, hes always trying to get the ball hoppin as quick as possible. he doesnt like slow offense where one guy is dribblin the air out. he will cuss u out for playing like tht.
him an luka would be awful together unless luka can do what westbrook is doin an play harder at a diff aspect of his game an be willin to cut to the rim jus as much as ur willin to push the ball an get the ball hoppin.

Yeah him and Luka are both do it all offense guys who can score everywhere and pass. But they do it in vastly different ways. Jokic don’t need the ball but for .5 seconds. Luka dominates the ball. Jokic is also way better on defense and his bball iq crosses over to defense too. And he’s a better leader imo. They would be deadly on the same team.
It’s really simple, he knows how to play the game, he’s very efficient, has great stamina, and he’s huge.

It's really easy to understand, and I want my American friends to not take it the wrong way. The average US basketball player is, let's say, intellectually challenged. In Europe, there is soccer and then there is a huuge gap (imagine the gap between Football and Curling) and then there is any other sport, basketball, volleyball, and so on. So the European kids playing basketball are the weirdo's that actively searched for a not too popular place – and they usually are smarter than average. That's the main reason why you see successful European players that don't seem that athletic. They are just way smarter than the rest.
You keep comparing someone who knows how to play basketball with slashers. And then you fall from the clouds that the most complete player is the winner
