Great take John and Dave this is the best the Suns looked all year. They can build a contender around Book and KD no doubt about it.
Exactly my thoughts on not giving our young players away. I definitely would rather waive and stretch Beal. We have two more draft picks this year and possibly one or two udfa,s to evaluate. We have a G League for development reasons let's use it! Youthful energy and athleticism is sorely needed. Trade Beal if you can without losing assets.
Best fit is 3rd- 4th player off the bench or bench him for the rest of the season and hope that he waives his NTC

Bradley Beal never won nothing . Wizards were never contenders even in his best years… he use to be looked at as a fringe starter with potential and had stat padded losing seasons that made him seem like a star but in reality he’s a above average scorer who’s older now
Just dont play him together with KD and Book
14 mins for Cody Martin isn't enough, I think he is their best perimeter defender. Him and Dunn should share minutes at the small forward position.
Oso should be their starting center and get majority of the minutes. Have you seen how many open 3s and dunks Richards gave to Lopez? He always leave his man trying to go for a block but always end up paying for it.

Gerald Bourguet checked the salary rules and found that dead money cannot exceed 15% of the salary cap, so waiving and stretching B. Beal is not possible.
Can the Suns waive and stretch Beal after this season ? I have been thinking this since they failed to get Butler at trade deadline. My understanding is they can and they will be paying him 22 million for 4 seasons ? So wont this help them get closer to the second apron in the offseason – maybe not taking up Micic team option ? will get them just under and give them more flexibility ? Can they get under the second apron and retry to trade Beal where they may get more teams involved ? I would like them to keep Bol as well but he maybe they wont be able to afford him and he hasnt seemed happy playing for Bud
He is basically a Ginobi player at this stage. Meaning he is best suited to be a scorer off the bench.. He already averaging around 15 tp 20pts a game..
those are bench players number or role players..
He not fit for starter becuase the suns have enough scoring..
He needs to come off the bench and be a that x factor..
Dont play that low iq glass star who cant figure out how to play with other stars around instead of contributing to victory becomes a liability, he only excels when dominating on losing teams.
Beal has switched off, his ego is hurt seeing the team doing so well without him … Suns need to shut him down for the rest of the season and tell him to take a vacation. Then find a trade for him in summer.
