Stephen A’s point doesn’t make sense. Saying Jimmy Butler was looking for his KD and his Steph so that he can be a secondary player but also throwing a tantrum because he wants a max to get paid like a superstar? At Jimmy Butlers price the Heat needed him to be the superstar
All Jimmy was saying is that culture in the locker room is important yes, but it’s often magnified in Miami when the team finds success. But often that success is accompanied by great players, so despite whatever culture you have it’s only gonna get you so far, ala the Heats two recent finals runs. They had the culture to breed dogs and go out and defeat teams in the East that weren’t quite ready or injured. But without talent you can forget about winning rings idc what culture you have. Same can be said for the Patriot way. I think Jimmy believes Heat culture gets a little too much credit when they win and that maybe Pat Riley has bought into that a little too much when he should be buying into making some small changes to how they do things in order to attract more stars to the Heat, cause south beach ain’t enough anymore.
U guys full ot it and spreading this misinfo just to hurt Riley and the heat. Theres no secret you guys dont like the miami heat period. Heat culture been there before Jimmy, before lebron. True we didnt have superstars before to win it all but for many years heat was the division winners mostly every year and that shows consistency. Jimmy thinks he is a superstar but he is not, he wont be remembered as a 50 top player, no scoring title, no mvp, no all nba 1st team, no championship just a bunch of trash talking on teams and team mates. Every team in nba got 1 or 2 good players but they dont advance. Keep on hatin fools
Jimmy did get paid…TWICE. He never took a pay cut, always got the max. How can you blame miami for not wanting to give him 60 mill at his age? What happened was what was best for both sides. Just move on

Heat Culture elevates that talent to play better than they otherwise would have. Just look at all of the players that had their best years in Miami and played worse before and after their Heat tenure.
What about unsigned players and lower draft picks the Heat has cultivated over the years? Nobody cared about BAM until he showed skills for Miami. Same w/Herro…Duncan Robinson…Max Strus…The Nets had Durant,Harden,an Kyrie and what happened there?? No Culture…this list goes on an on…Heat culture exists. Hard work and sweat will prevail more than not. 🔥🔥🔥

He culture was a thing before jimmy even got there. He culture was even a thing when they weren't winning During the James Johnson Dion waiters years, so it's not about players winning. It's about the way the team conducts itself from top to bottom.
1. The patriot way was more of not making the little mistake. Penalties and turnovers.
2. They played hard nose football. The patriots had dogs when brady was there. Those were football guys!! They bought into that toughness.

Nah Shay and SAS are wrong I really really hate the heat but Heat culture definitely exists they just beat jimmy and the warriors who were 16-3 since trading for jimmy.
