Okc is not going to win the championship this year. Let me explain:
If you take a look at the western conference teams, every team have players with the experience that okc as a team primarily lack. Okc will have to walk out of the west to make the finals which is definitely super difficult given how stacked the west is.
Their first round matchup will either be the wolves or clippers. Now if they face wolves, they have to go through players like Ant, Randle, Donte, Jaden Mcdaniels. We all know how scary playoffs Ant is, he swept the KD, Booker and Beal suns and gave 2023 defending champs hell. Are the thunder up for the challenge, I don’t think so, they lost to short handed wolves this year twice already. Now if they face the clippers, they have to play harden, kawhi, Powell, zubac. We all know playoffs harden and kawhi are already a problem now with Powell and zubac it would give okc a living hell. Mind you, clippers won healthy cavs by 13pts with Norman Powell on minutes restriction.
Even if they managed to pass the first round, they will be gassed, they will not win wolves and clippers in 4 or 5 games, it would go up to 7 games. Second round or conference finals matchup would either be LeBron, Luka, reaves or jimmy and curry. Lakers and warriors are 2 teams in the west that can give okc a nightmare. Playoff jimmy and curry is a different animal, same goes to LeBron, Luka and reaves. Okc already struggling with Luka let alone LeBron and reaves. Even nuggets may have a chance to make conference finals. Nuggets have more experience than okc, and already beat okc twice this season.

OKC has a good chance in winning it all, but I don’t trust them simply because they haven’t done it before. Ofc they’re great this season but it’s the same with the Warriors in 2015. Nobody believed they could do it until they made it to the finals. It’s the same with OKC, they have the personnel to do it but can they really do it is the question. People won’t trust them until they actually do it.

Yes the warriors are legit!! Jimmy doesn’t get the respect he deserves. You look at the heat team he took to those finals and you look at the warriors team that won the last chip. The warriors with Steph are the one team that can literally win a series against anybody just by having Steph. Shay is a generational talent it’s only their experience that is the weakness. Same with the Cavs.
