For all of the tanking odds it could be that the organization simply doesn’t see that much of a gap between prospect 3 and 10 on the board. If you look at the mocks coming out there is a ton of wild card going on. That’s why when factoring in all of the variables nets might’ve chosen this as the best direction. I don’t understand what the daily breakout is about. I’m more concerned about what the nets will be doing in their pre draft process. How will they evaluate this talent? How will the talent be developed?
From what was stated on the game last night, if the Nets and Sixers finish with the same record, they get the same amount of lottery balls regardless of who is ahead in the standings. The standings only matter for playoff seeding, not lottery odds.
Best loss is when we lose by a couple points. Losing by 30 is not fun.
