  1. Imagine getting fired as a head coach because you have an unhealthy obsession with playing Grayson fucking Allen in crunch time

  2. I like this channel and pointing out coaching mistakes is good and educational for the rest of us, but calling coaches dumb is going too far. You are starting to sound like the awful coaching guy. You are better than that, you dont need to call people dumb in order to point out their flaws and mistakes

  3. With all these player’s podcasts I find it hard to believe it’s the coaches making these decisions. Management and ownership leading the charge imo

  4. Credit to those two rookies for staying ready and contributing when called upon. Coach Bud comes from the school of Coach Pop, who is known not to trust rookies immediately (ignore Castle and Wemby who are aliens). So I understand his thinking with the trust of the veterans. Now that the adjustment has been made and the results are clear, we shall see if the Suns can get themselves into a play-in spot.

  5. Oso needs to work out with Kevin love over the summer. Master the outlet pass. He can zip that ball.

  6. maybe if you have two great offensive stars who are great at iso ball and creating their own shot, you should consider having good defenders in your lineup instead of mason plumlee

  7. I think it's worse than the mins you were listing for Dunn and I wouldnt blame anyone who doesn't actively watch them for just assuming he got a dnp in games he did play in

Most noticeable example that comes to mind is the Suns final game against the Grizzlies this season at the end of the 1st half AFTER the Suns blew a 16 pt lead Dunn checked in for 20 SECS and blocked a Morant 3 he then proceeded to play 7 secs THE REST OF THE GAME and in the time had a clutch stop on Ja that the Suns couldn't convert oh and Ighodaro got a DNP

Suns got a ton of problems outside of this decision by Bud but makes me wonder how much of this season was squandered by it

  8. They best 5 should be dunn , rookie big , kd , book , bol
    They bench should be Plumlee
    Beal, Grayson, Royce
    Then keep whoever cookin in
Bench should be getting at least 7 mins a night

  9. Suns need to stop recycling these coaches. There was a reason why they were fired. There's is nothing wrong with getting a young coach with the mindset of today's NBA rather than older shit

  10. I've always believed that Bud is a bad coach even from his Atlanta days. I think he just won that championship with Milwaukee through luck anc Giannis. He has consistently shown how he has a ceiling and can't adjust and is pretty mediocre in most cases. And his worst trait is to stick to things that he can clearly see isn't working. The thought process behind that is baffling and mind boggling. If an NBA coach can't see and realize this thing, then what is he a coach for?!

  11. love to see dunn and ighodaro getting minutes again; dont think it woulda changed the overall trajectory of the latter half of the season after starting hot, but benching them after some bad performances (which are gonna be normal for rookies lol) in the middle of the season seemed like a huge mistake then and an even bigger one now in retrospect

  12. Bud was asked – why didn't you play Dunn or Oso "We mapped out a 9 man rotation" Yeah Bud we're asking WHY you mapped out that 9 man rotation. "We need someone that can make plays on both sides of the court" then why are you playing slow players with no playmaking that can't play defense?

  13. The fact Frank Vogel squeezed 49-33 out of this roster WITHOUT those 2 rookies just shows that his firing was a big mistake…
