As a Mavs fan, the vast majority of us aren't saying AD is trash, we just know he's always hurt. The problem with the trade was that Nico and the brass decided to keep this in the shadows and not get a larger haul than just AD, Max, and a first round pick. Nico traded a 10-year window for 2-3 years. Then they went on a crusade to tarnish Luka's name, a guy who was committed to the Mavs for the long haul. Now we're in a position where it's going to be a long time before we draft another generational talent, while Nico will get fired in 2 years, and he gets to live out the rest of his days on a beach.
Fire Nico and Dumont, should sell the team.

No one has criticized AD. You're just making stuff up. Fans in Dallas just didn't want Luka to EVER go. I'm happy for Luka now that I know how he was viewed and treated by Mav's owners and GM. Luka is better off in LA. I'll never support the Mavs again though and it has nothing to do with AD.
