The league is just now finding out how high Kelel Ware's ceiling is. Considering he has come from the end of the bench for almost a third of his rookie season, he is now wowing hall of famers like Shaq and Reggie Miller. Ware is a legit 7'-1" with 7'-5" wingspan, has great athleticism, very good balance (he almost never falls to floor) good
hands and is shooting 63% from two-point range this season. Give him minutes & touches he averages 18 & 12
Jimmy lost his joy in Miami when Ware stuffed him and grabbed the rock off the glass. Then when Butler though about driving; either Bam or Ware were waiting for him in the paint and Jimmy though better of going on to the rim. Whole Heat team defended well and played harder and smarter than the Warriors. It was neat to see Ware & JacksonDavis late in game guarding each other; 2 IU X-Hoosiers. Wiggs, Bam and Ware kicked

I’m from Miami born and raised… seen all the heats games with Jimmy. One thing everyone should’ve know is Jimmy doesn’t play into narratives, if you expect him to give you a big game cause a narrative is tied to it, trust me he’ll do the opposite lol I learned this the hard way 😂
They didn’t go out they just beat. Jimmy was playing dominoes all Monday at his coffee shop. Jimmy has these types of games in the regular season where he just looks unmotivated. Get used to it warriors fans especially next season when this honeymoon phase is over.

Retiring ones jersey has to mean something, the criteria seems to keep getting diluted every year around the league. No way Butler deserves a jersey retirement anywhere.
Butler played 4 and a half seasons with the heat, never played more than 60 games in a season, so never eligible for any awards going by todays standards and only finished top seed once in 2021, otherwise practically playing for 6-8th seed in the weaker conference (including finishing lower than 8th and winning the play-in). Sure he and the Heat over-performed in the playoffs but they never won anything and were an over-performing average team at best.

Jimmy doesn’t have the arsenal or the offense in place to attack Ware and Bam with out spacing and the 3pt shooting falling. Warriors did not have anyone to attack miamis weakness at guard. Attacking Herro was the weak point and kaminga was good going at ware

The one thing is that if Wiggins was on the warriors and Jimmy on the Heat the will win this game also. Neither player traded was the difference. If anything Draymond could guard ware or bam which Draymond at the 5 he has been holding his own not against the Heat on the game. Jimmy could seek the match up he wanted because Miami on defense threw Wiggins, ware and bam all long defender hard for Jimmy to play bully ball
