“There’s still discussions, but again, I think it’s probably not that far away. I don’t know what the timeline is to get a decision made. I think, again, there’s lots of people he’s seeing and talking to lots of information that they’re gathering and just want to absolutely be as thorough as possible, and get every option on the table and then figure out where they go from there.”

“He got in some of the 5-on-0 work, and got into all the shooting drills and did a little bit of post practice shooting as well. He’s just trying to get back out there and get moving and start ramping up and see when we can get him back out there.”

– in case Sixers lose Oubre which might force Sixers to start Edwards
– also in case Sixers have to include Council in a trade because I would rather have Lindy Watters for example instead of Council bc Lindy is a better shooter

This Sixer's season may be the biggest wet fart of any pro team, in any sport ever, considering the hype, expectations, acquisitions, and money spent at the beginning of the year. I've never seen a team fail as miserably as a unit. Oubre and Maxey along with some bench were the only ones that earned their money.

I must say I underestimated Edwards when Morey brought him in last summer. Based on what I read and heard about him, I didn't think he had any chance of becoming more than a role player for the team.
I thought he might develop into a 3 and d wing after a year or more in the g league. I expected guys like Quinones and David Jones to do better than him and was surprised when those and other players were released and they kept Edwards. I'm glad he's developed into a starting 3 and 4. I look forward to him helping the team for years to come.
I think this team can become a contender even with Embiid sidelined on it. If they draft or sign the right C and PF/SF they could contend as early as next season with the right coaching. I hope Embiid gets the best treatment for his knee.
I think Maxey playing will eliminate the Sixers' chances of being the 6th or worse team in the league. I think him playing will secure at least two wins in these final 9 games.
I'm curious to see how he and Grimes play. If Oubre Jr. is healthy you might as well play him too. I still think this team can find enough help in the second round of the draft and among undrafted players to contend next season.

Justin Edwards is a good player but let's be realistic, he play with our tanking team 😂😂😂…. he's a bench player not more! maybe 10min per game max for the next year. Oubre, Yabu even PodcastP are better than him 😂

The right mentor and coach could make JE into a legit starting 3 with all the tools. He looks like he moves in slowmo but it kinda works. Maybe not so much in high intensity games.
