Luke Kornet on Evolution of His Game After CAREER NIGHT in Celtics Win vs Spurs | Postgame 3-29

SAN ANTONIO — The Boston Celtics extended their win streak to eight games with a 121-111 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night. Big man Luke Kornet made his presence felt on the boards, pulling down 16 rebounds in a strong, physical showing.

After the game, Kornet spoke about his evolution into a more physical player. He credited work in the weight room and coaching from Amile Jefferson for helping him make the leap — but also emphasized the importance of a mental shift.

“A lot of it for me was just a transition in terms of — I used to definitely see the game a certain way, and now kind of just like looking at it through a different lens… seeking the contact and initiating contact.”
