I don’t like the Beal take like I watched Devin booker game after game not be a team player towards Beal plenty of fastbreaks beal open on the wing booker purposely not passing and instead jacking up dumb shots. So part of the reason Beal not having an ideal year the whole organization and Devin booker made him feel unwanted and I think in some way hurt his game and definitely his competitiveness

Bigger faster stronger doesn’t mean more durable lol it means bigger faster stronger. Someone who is in the gym benching 10 pounds has less chance to tear their peck than someone benching 500 pounds. Can be stronger and faster and still less durable

Mavs only got to the 2022 west finals cause of dinwiddie…and then they traded picks for players for years which got them to the finals
KD trade was FINE. Not great. Too expensive. But KD-Book have been great for us overall. What screwed us was the big trades after that. Beal, Nurk, Allen have all had their good matches (in case of Allen, a good regular season just before his contract) but have not been help to our team at the eilte level, not at all. THAT created this mess.
I am just grateful our rookies (and Collin Gillespie) have finally provided that help to our star duo. I am quite sure if Bud was brave enough to play them from the mid-season at latest, we would have been at least top 8, fighting for top 6 spot. Will that team work at the playoffs level as well, I have no idea. Hope I get to find it out soon.

Stupidest thing the Mavs did was trade Luka, second is trading Quentin Grimes for a worse player at twice the cost. Now he's balling. If I got traded to the Mavs I'd be happy to know that wherever they end up trading me I'll have my breakout year lmao

Mistake with Brunson was not signing him to a standard rookie deal with restricted free agency. They could have had the option to match NY but did not because of his odd 4 year rookie contract with no restricted free agency. Teams should ALWAYS keep control of their rookie contracts.
