If Mavs are serious about wanting this playoff run, bringing B Will back on a real contract beforehand is a must and we need Kai Jones on a real contract too. We can get rid of Hardy, Martin, Exum, Omax, etc. to make it happen. Although given that Kidd said Hardy hasn't been able to shine because of ankle injuries I wonder if that was just the media answer

Wave Hardy, sign Williams….theres no comparison between the two…..Hardy bets hot every 5-10 games but is a consistent turnover machine making knucklehead decisions and fouls…..and it hasn’t changed for over 2 years. Hardy is NOT an NBA rotation player on a playoff team. Williams is a stud. Got the smarts, skills and plays winning ball. Mavs would be insane to let him go.

I truly believe that Brandon Williams can be our starting point guard. He can score from all three levels, has good basketball IQ, and knows how to draw fouls. We aren’t getting better than him in the draft or anywhere else in the league for the price and he’s only getting better
Kai is like another Derrick jones J but not as good from 3. I think we have to keep him. Brandon Williams is a no brainer! Especially without Kyrie!

Brandon Williams keeps reminding me of this era’s version of jj barea. Undrafted scoring undersized guard riding the bench for a few seasons til breaking out and becoming an impact player. Would love to see him as a core bench piece for the next decade.
