Watching old NBA clips shows how out of shape these guys were compared to today. Looks like none of these old players hit the gym. No muscle definition.
Could they play? Sure. But they would be physically outmatched if they were in the league today.
Oh, I can think of a few guys that could easily hang with today's NBA. Of course back then, the refs would actually call traveling, or 3 in the key. Never happens today. These guys today are taking 3,4, even 5 steps to the hoop, but if it looks pretty, it's okay.
