I became a Mavs fan in 86', when they drafted my fellow German Detlef Schrempf. Apart of being a Pippen fan throughout the 90s, Mavs were my team. Dirk, Luka, last 27 years were a blast.
Since Dumont bought the team, i had a bad feeling. And i was right. Mavs are souless franchise now, and will be for a long time with that front Office. Sad too know, sad to see..

Stat analytic geeks will point to the 3 disparity but real ones know…. The Mavs shot 59% from the line. They get that to 80% this game is much different. Dominate the paint & make FT’s. That slows the opposing offense down as they now have to face set defenses with two 7 footers. That was the story of the game IMHO!
They definitely miss BWill, they need someone that can breakdown the defense.
Maybe they needed to lose this one and will now win all games. After all, the Lakers also lost to teams like the Nets, Utah, and Charlotte when their injured players were returning.
