  1. I knew Rizzy was gonna be that guy before we drafted him. Folks got hung up on Sarr for some crazy reason. Rizzy is French Tatum.

  2. I m a french Nba fan, and in the first half of season, I was worry he would live up the 1s pick, same as Alex Sarr. But both became really good. The fact is Wemby set a really high bar last year. And all people after would be compare to the alien. But the thing is, both Risacher and Sarr are growing to the expectations. It is a surprise. They did adjust to the Nba and I see them felling confident, which wasn't the case at the beginning. For french players, going to the states, it is intimading. Foreignes have still a little complex of inferiority against US players, a little fear. Only supremes confident or gifted players like luka or Wemby weren't affraid. But others, had to build confidence in time, Dirk, TP, Giannis, Joker.
Also, Risacher once said "In France, I was called really atletic, here everybody is super athletic". He had to fight his places against strong men, and it is working.

  3. He is extremely smart. Knows how to move. Can use both hands and has very good defense. He is going to be a problem for the NBA.

  4. I am a Hawks fan, and I was screaming at the top of my lungs to not draft Sarr. I was hoping we drafted either Castle or Risacher. I am glad we went with Risacher.

  5. i think his ceiling is gonna be lower than the average #1 pick, but i think he can very much be a borderline all star if he reaches his potential. he's never gonna be a franchise player, btu i think he can become a very quality 2 way player that could be maybe a #2 or #3 on a really really good team

  6. I didn’t think I would say this six months ago, but the Atlanta Hawks will be a very good team next season like a top three seed next season. And I don’t think that’s ridiculous to say considering they were the number five seed before they lost Jalen Johnson for the season and of course he can’t forget Trae Young, who is the best playmaker in the league and probably the most clutch player in the league.

  7. French training schools are excellent for producing good players: other young players will arrive in the NBA every year.

  8. Those who watched the hawks all season long didnt wait for game 40 to realize that. He stayed consistent all year. Only the curious minutes restrictions from Snyder maintained him under the radar.

  9. Die Hard Hawks fan here, im not surprised because this kid has the work ethic similar to the greats! I'm good friends with The Atlanta Hawks' main writer and he constantly tells me about how Zaccharie Risacher is the first and last one in the gym on a regular basis. He also displayed this type of work ethic and mentality before Atlanta even drafted him. Shoutout to Adam Silver for rigging the draft for Atlanta, better late than never.

  10. I drafted him 1rst overall in my dynasty league this year based almost entirely on his summer league performance, I saw his elite IQ and size+speed and knew instantly he was my guy. Im surprised you didn't mention he was only 19yrs old this season as well! I agree he will be an all star in 2-3 years and is already looking like a great bet for most improved next year.

  11. YEAH !! thanks for talking about our guy Risacher, his father was a great player too ! the kid knows the game ! Love from France thanks for posting

  12. Most european players need some times to adapt to the NBA. The court is bigger than FIBA ones, there is no defensive 3 seconds rule, the 3 point line is further from the basket and players are far more athletic.
