Kyle Filipowski continues to shine for the Utah Jazz – Hoops Nerd Post Game Show
The Utah Jazz lost to the Charlotte Hornets in a huge loss that gives them a great shot at a for-sure top-five pick come draft night. On top of that they’re seeing some great things from their rookies, Kyle Filipowski and Isaiah Collier.

50% of the time it drops to 5th rarely stays at 1st 2 -4 itvseems i ran it 100 times
If the Jazz don't get Cooper Flagg, I want them to draft Khaman Maluach. He's an 18-year-old Sudanese player who stands 7'2", has a 7'5" wingspan, is more athletic than Kessler, shoots 71% from two point range, hits 76% of his free throws, has good hands and can keep up with most guards. The guy even has a three point shot. While initially he wasn't shooting the three great (25%), lately, it's been improving. The same cannot be said for Kessler.
Here's an idea that could radically remake the Jazz this summer. Trade Kessler to New Orleans for their top pick in the draft. The Pelicans desperately need a center like Kessler because they current options are: Yves Missi and Kelly Olynyk. It would be a good move for New Orleans and the Jazz, giving Utah the chance to add another promising player from this draft. By the way, it doesn't necessarily have to be New Orleans. Brooklyn is another possibility. And who knows, what other team might be interested in doing such a deal if the Jazz make it known that Kessler can be had for the right price.
Combine the above move with trading away Markkanen, Collins, Sexton and Clarkson and the Jazz would be a very different team next season. While we as fans might have to endure one more tanking season, adding two top-ten picks in this draft would make the future look very bright — even if we miss out on Cooper Flagg.
Is anyone going to complain if the Jazz added two of these players: Ace Bailey, Khaman Maluach, VJ Edgecombe, Dylan Harper or Kon Knueppel? Oh okay, I'll probably moan for a couple of minutes if we miss out on Flagg but adding two of these guys would assuage my angst pretty quickly. 😒🤠🤓
Sensei is special @hoopsnerd bro I saw it at Ohio state dude is a bucket his offense is way ahead of his defense. But he is a valuable piece for us
Minnesota has the easiest schedule the rest of the way
