  1. 😄🤔🤔 Dude gotta be Malika's homegirl..I mean homeboy…because she was smiling A LOT when Chris Herring was giving his analysis.

  2. What I love with this is Thibs starts cutting minutes and the Knicks goes on a losing streak we will still be blaming Thibs, when it’s on the players to make sure that Thibs can trust them enough to put them on the floor, since he is coaching in New York and New Yorkers always think the Knicks are a championship team (Just like Cowboys Fans), when in reality the team they be having be Okay, but not championship caliber Ready.

  3. Knicks just swept two competitive teams back to back and y’all talking about a minutes conversation that hasn’t been relevant in a month..

    Ok

  4. NOT TRUE…December 17th a loss to the Bucks! The Thunder have TWO losses to east teams! I remember that blowout loss, because it was the final, I think, to the in season tournament!

  5. Such a tired take about the Knicks. These goobers will be talking about thibs mins in August

  6. I love stats, here's one for ESPN:

Of the TOP 100 Players in Minutes Per Game, only 30 Players have played 70 or more games.
Out of the 100 Players, ZERO have played more than 76 games.
For context, Michael Jordan averaged 37.0 MPG at 40 and LeBron at 35.1
The average games played for players who average the most minutes per game is 66 games this season.
The league average for games played this season is 67 games.
No Player in the entire league has played more than 76 games. There are ZERO players who have played a full season. The most games played is Jalen Green for the Houston Rockets with 76.

  7. Love Thib. But this has always been his downfall.
He did it to us in Chicago, He's doing it again to the knicks.

Its a shame cause man is a fantastic coach, just not a head coach.
He's the reason Boston '08 were hard nosed on D.

  8. Remember that him over playing his players is main reason Derrick rose career went downhill. He had him out there in a blowout until he blew his knee out

  9. Definitely not paying attention as both cam Payne and deuce have been out as well. So if they want to keep the 3 seed. These guys have to play more minutes. Is what it is.

  10. Anyone else turn it off when Perk starts to talk? Insights from danny green? Sure he was a great role player and played for some great teams/coaches.

Perk starts talking and I'm just out. Dude set more screens on air than he scored PPG. Too clueless and dumb to set a pick, but is giving basketball insights? Nty

  11. look thibs did his job now please find a championship coach asap. smh wish we could have gotten udoka smh i wonder who you would replace thibs with? knicks not even playing defense now so there isnt even a reason to keep him. think nick nurse could work

  12. To be fair fans who actually watch the NBA ask this same question when thibs was the bulls coach

  13. This is a great example of how narratives are run in media makes you think no other players are playing minutes. Is it a positive take no?

  14. The passion of basketball has left the NBA…I never thought that I would hear an NBA starter complaining about too many minutes. 80s’ 90s’ 2000s’-2010s’ you had to force a starter to sit and rest. SMH 😮

  15. Someone on the Knicks staff please let them see this, we are tired of the fatigue that can cause the crazy injuries and especially in the playoffs

  16. How can ESPN put this out showing team records before the Knicks played the 76ers tonight? They showed the record as if the Knicks already beat the 76ers. I’m a Knicks fan and still think that’s disrespectful😮

  17. This isn’t anything new about Thibs. It will always be a concern. Thibs will not change since he hasn’t to this day.

  18. How many viewers monitor Nicks players' minutes every time they play?
They don't have the time, and probably would not be interested.
I am a basketball fan (retired).
I have lots of time to watch the games and take notes.
    I love analytics.
I watched what happened to Derek Rose.
I watched his minutes, his speed.
I started monitoring the coaches who prefer to play their starting five 38 to 40 Minutes, with almost no bench.
Julius Randal was in Knicks with no help.
He played 40 minutes each game. He had no help. He got injured.
When he returned, he was not playing as before. There was not much help around him.
The Nicks fans booed and critized Randall every game, when he did not play up to standard.
OG came, he was playing about 40 minutes each game, not counting overtime.
At that time, he was playing mainly defense. He also got injured.
Brunson plays really fast, like Derek Rose.
I am watching the games and commenting to my husband the amount of minutes each player played.
    Brunson got injured.
Nick Nurse does exactly the same with his players in Philadelphia.
I look at the minutes of the top 5 teams.
    I compare the minutes.
Those coaches give their players less minutes.
They protect their players, and they have a real bench.
CBS sports apps shows each player's minutes under "Box Score".
I used it to monitor player's minutes. 😊
Many Nicks fans are disappointed when a player gets injured.
Like all fans, they want their team to win.
They have to understand these are human basketball players, not robots.
It is just a matter of time before the stress on the body cause injury.
Thibideau only recently reduced the players' minutes. Why?
Retired players who he coached in the past, started to comment on the long minutes and the rigid practice sessions he uses.
Most analysts defend Thibideau, by using average stats.
    That does not make sense.
How can they use an average to measure a player running up and down the floor at real speed for 40 minutes.
That is Real time, Real minutes on a Real body.
It's only the last few games that Thibideau has reduced players' minutes.
It has been 40 minutes or more since the beginning of the season.

  19. For all of you saying starter minutes have went down. You all are just like Danny green you don't listen/watch the game. They gave a minutes comparison of the whole league…. That nullifies the minutes gone down argument. Yeah they're minutes went down yet they still have there starting 5 in the top 12 MPG league wide….
