“When it came to Taylor Jenkins and his future in “Grind City,” the writing was on the wall last summer. In early July, the Grizzlies front office made the unilateral choice to swap out five members of Jenkins’ coaching staff. Per league and team sources, Jenkins became emotional in those final exchanges with his jettisoned coaching colleagues.”

Who would you rather coach the 76ers next season? Type ‘N’ for Nick Nurse or ‘J’ for Taylor Jenkins
I don't like what Nurse did with what he was dealt. I think a coach should be able to develop younger players. A coach should also be able to put his players in the best position to win. I don't think Nurse did this this season, but Jenkins doesn't sound like an upgrade. Stick with Nurse till a clear improvement or unknown you're willing to gamble with turns up.
If we are talking about hiring a Coaching how about looking at all the coaching then look st theur status and probably sign one
As many trades and roster turnovers as Daryl Morey has made he still hasn’t put together a single complimentary roster. The coach isn’t the problem.
Secondly, if there’s one mediocre coach ok…BUT now on to potentially the third without replacing the GM? Doc Rivers was his “Dream Coaching Partner” and he kicked him out the door…Morey should have gone with Rivers.

N for Nick Nurse not his fault Joel Embiid had a bum knee causing him not play regularly after being given a massive contract extension he tanked amounted to putting good money in to a bad player make it make sense will you then we double down by rewarding Paul George with and massive contract with his lackluster performance can’t hold Nick to the fire 🔥 with dead men walking bench

Nick Nurse had caused some of the 76ers. The sixers needed a better coach & fired the whole coaching staff & fired Daryl Morey as a GM he's bad. Hired Bob Myers as GM look what he did for the Warriors got them 4 championship. Their a reason why the Raptors fired Nick Nurse. Resign Kelly Oubre get rid of PG & Embiid they both are washed. Embiid would be the same in the 2025-2026 season. You got to get rid of PG.
Nick Nurse had course some of the 76ers game. The player are not please with Nick Nurse. Fired Nick Nurse & Daryl Morey.

Teams won't let go of good coaches…. why keep taking other teams trash. Why not look at bringing in a successful college coach and raise a young new sixers team and build something for the future…. can't do much worse than we have lately…..

So, all the usual starters & key guys get injured, miss a ton of games, & they have 40+ different lineups, & the answer being s firing the coach? And not here with this fan base dies something so stupid make sense to so many.
Im not opposed to hiring Jenkins if Nurse is fired; I seen coaching failures from Nurse on many fronts this year with substitution patterns and who he started! 1 instance, too many times Yabusele started over Drummond, which begs the question why we bring Drummond back as the backup Center?

I'm quite concerned at why Nick Nurse insisted on giving Lowry and Gordon as many minutes as he did when the team was actually trying to compete
some really boneheaded decisions were made by him but at the same time, I really do believe that he's a good coach
just not sure he has the heart or desire to want to continue here in Philly based on some of his body language and words…..

His coaching stats sound just like what we were told about Nurse but Nurse had a championship on his resume. We will stink no matter who the coach is as long as were are tired to a franchise guy who has been hurt more than he has been healthy throughout his career. Then we doubled down on another old injured player to pair with him.

Coaching isn't the problem, bad contracts on injury-prone players is. Maybe fire the conditioning staff to see if another group can keep players healthier????
