Matas Buzelis was drafted by the Chicago Bulls with the 11th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, and in his limited playing time throughout the season, the rookie forward has been a huge help for the Bulls. Not only has Matas Buzelis been able to operate in an off-ball role alongside Josh Giddey and Coby White, but he’s also been able to flash some of that star caliber upside that I believe he has.

  1. 2:11 dyson daniels is going to be all nba defense. Jalen Green is the leading scorer on the 2 seed in the west… not that bad of a track record for the ignite imo

  2. It isnt ready yet but he did do a step back in the summer league, i have no reason to believe that wont come a long in the future

  3. As a Celtics fan, I remember how skinny Tatum looked in his first few seasons in the NBA, then one day I saw him standing next to Al Horford on the broadcast and was shocked that Tatum looked damn near the same size

  4. Buzelis' Dynasty:
    1. Elena Buzelienė. Paternal grandmother. Top-10 Lithuanian women's handball player of all time.
    2. Matas Buzelis. Good potential to climb higher
    3. Virginijus Jankauskas. Maternal grandfather. Played in top Lithuanian basketball team Zalgiris' frontline with Arvydas Sabonis in the 80s
    4. Petras Buzelis. Paternal grandfather. Zalgiris guard and eventually captain in 50s and 60s
    5. Kristina Jankauskaite. Mother. Member of Lithuanian youth basketball national teams. Four time Lithuanian fitness champion
    6. Aidas Buzelis. Father. Professional basketball player in the 90s
    7. Vincas Buzelis. Brother. South Dakota recruit

  5. I’ve been a Matas fan for a bit now. I wanted my Hornets to draft him. If he keeps working hard he’s gonna be a stud, for sure.

  6. Buzelis is great. I don’t know that he’s the player with the highest ceiling in this draft (Sarr, Clingan, and Castle in particular stand out among the top ten, plus plenty of promising guys lower down), but he’s up there for sure. Andrei Kirilenko with a reliable perimeter shot is probably a multiple-time All-Star, and that’s where Buzelis is headed right now. I want to see him develop a post game to bully mismatches, as he’ll get tons between his length and agility.

  7. Wow the 6’10 that can pass/dribble/shoot with a 40” vert is a stud who would have thought. He even showed some rim protection ability. I wanted him so bad at 7 for my Blazers

  8. Have they played the 5 white boy lineup yet? Giddey, Huerter, Matas, Collins, and Vuc lol. That's a legit lineup they could actually put out there.

  9. Who actually says let me put bulls on 😅😅 this not no Drose or Jordan days you talking bout a peddy team who like kids we don’t care for no bulls

  10. The dumbest thing in the world is the spurs coulda just took him but they outsmarted themself and traded the 8 pick for a f u c k ing pick 6 years from now.

  11. Not a single Rookie of the Month. Reminds me of Jan Vesely. Sarr for me has the highest ceiling while Castle is the most impactful. And with Risacher as close 2nd.

  12. GOD BLESS YOU ALEX IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT IN JESUS NAME AMEN JESUS LOVES AND CARES FOR YOU

  13. I vividly remember he was #1 on several draft boards at the beginning of the season before he was drafted. He was one of only a few names I recognized.

  14. There was no secret that Buzelis was gonna be incredible. I literally started punching the air when my Spurs didn’t take him with our 7th round pick
